Hey. You've finished the story, but there's something I want to say about it. If you don't care or get triggered easily, then there's nothing for you here.

I am definitely the most proud on this story, despite it not having that many reads. I wrote it because I was really into the egos and was thinking of how similar I am to Chase. No,I don't drink or have ever been divorced or had kids. I'm talking about depression. A lot of you may understand to some extent. Being really into the egos and connecting myself with Chase was only the starting point. I had read other stories of Chase and attempted suicide, but never complete. I got in a dark mindset and thought to look for one,but never found it. I also really ship Anti and Chase. So, when I was reminded the song Whiskey Lullaby I immediately pinned it with Chase.

Chase is a divorced father with two children. He normally wears a baseball cap and has a channel (not actually) called 'Bro Average' as a play off of another YouTube channel. He acts childish, but it's only to hide how upset and depressed he really is. He tends to try and drink away the pain he feels. He has attempted suicide with a gun before,but- by how the community sees it- Dr. Schneeplestein saved him

Chase is very accepting and friendly. He is actually an amazing father even though his ex-wife Stacy doesn't see that and tries to keep the kids away. He's a father to all the egos.

When making this story,I cried. Not even kidding. Re-reading it made me cry too. Especially with how the other egos reacted even after three years. Not everyone can get over grief quickly and I wanted to portray that. Most tend to change their actions and attitude without noticing. I'd like to talk about that

Jack
Jack is the creator,so he'd obviously be very close to each ego. However,he is also a youtuber and knows that it is his responsibility to be there for us. He does take a break from YouTube to recollect himself. He didn't change much and got over the grief much quicker than any of the others. He now tends to check in with every ego more

Henrik
Henrik is a doctor, but that doesn't mean he'd be used to losing those closest to him. He always believed he could save anyone,so seeing a close friend die really struck him into shock. He buries himself in work to try and distract his mind. Based on him "If I take vone second,I'll remember and zen I vill break"

Marvin
Marvin loved magic, but the only one that would ever be his assistant or audience was Chase. His magic is very emotionally based. He lost his love for something because he could no longer control his emotions in order to control his magic. He has been seeing a therapist and was diagnosed with depression. Instead of telling the others he sits in his room, staring blankly at a wall imagining what it would be like if Chase were still there.

Jackie
Jackie is like Jack. He gets more determined to save people, however he still grieves for his 'cheerleader'. Despite what he says,he actually gets really scared easily. Chase was the one who'd reassure him because he was the only one that knew. He was good at seeing people hide behind a false smile

Robbie
Robbie is the equivalent to a child. His little zombie brain doesn't comprehend what actually happened. When burying the casket Robbie cried out "Stop, dad need out!". Most figured he thought Chase was going to come back as a zombie

Jameson
Jameson was the one who- other than Anti- listened to Chase's cries. He'd dance to cheer him up,and eventually, he grew to love it and began practicing actual dance. He stopped because dancing only reminded him of everything, even Chase's letter. He grew quiet, more so than normal, but ended up taking on Chase's role of cleaning and cooking. Because nobody can hear him,he cries openly. Normally with his back facing the others so they never notice.

Anti
Anti fell in love with Chase, but it wasn't always like that. At first he tried to intimidate Chase, scare him. Chase would just laugh it off. Then he tried ignoring Chase. He caught Chase crying one night though and couldn't do it. He finally let Chase somewhat close to him, still placing a tough guy act. When Chase gave him his first ever Christmas present one year,Anti dropped everything, hugged Chase, and cried in joy. Chase kept him grounded. Chase was the first one to accept him and show the others he wasn't such a bad guy.

Anti soon fell for Chase after seeing him through all. He saw his pain, his pleasure (happiness you dirty minds), and his less than ideal moments. Since Chase was there to hear him ramble about Jack and the others,he listened to Chase speak of Stacy and his kids. He help him while he cried. Anti also was there sometimes when Chase's kids came over. His heart seemed to melt at the adorable sights of Chase and his kids. He realized he had fallen in love when Chase explained about how he knew he had fallen for Stacy, but he was adamant on denying it.

He was the one that found Chase. He decided to surprise Chase at his house with a movie marathon, but after Chase never came home,he went to the small place Chase recorded. He found Chase,a gun in his hand and two pictures. Anti could no longer stomach food,so he threw up anytime he ate. He lost countless hours of sleep because of crying, and even stopped toying with Jack. Of course he still played with the kids, but he felt pain every time.

He adopted CJ because of how the little boy looked. Him being a baby,he couldn't really figure anything about personality. CJ had grey-blue eyes and blondish brown hair. He was tucked in a grey onesie. As the kid slowly grew,he grew more and more to look like Chase, increasing Anti's love on him. His actions seemed to match Chase's too. Whenever he was picked on,he laughed it off. He was there for the others,as much as he could be. He was a smart kid too, smarter than people gave him credit for.

Jack kept alcohol put of the house, forbidding it. Not like anyone would dare to touch it

Chase was able to hear Anti. He knows Anti can't hear him. When Anti leaves it's as though he falls asleep until the other man returns. The gifts given to him were picked out by his children and family. He loves them all
