Time and time I wake up again,
To find myself where I began.
Lying ahead are new roads to seek,
Nonetheless I choose what make me weak.
At the end of the road, I wish to see light,
But all I find is gloom and blight.
Alone I stand in the desert of my mind,
Driven by misery which made me blind.
Swallowing my pride I prayed for help,
Never once did I utter a yelp.
Hustling past the voids filled with guilt,
I forged my mind up to the hilt.
At last I reached wherein the journey embarked,
Making amends to set a mark.
Stronger I got to choose what is right,
Striding forward to reach new heights.
