she leaned forward turning the music up and swiped over to instagram to record herself lip singing to the song.

"she said oh you rich rich!" kailani and kekeli yelled the lyrics while mandy laughed at the two girls in the backseat

kailani let out a laugh as and kept rapping with elom joining her before the girl hit a woah making him jump in his seat, "and we are here!" mandy yelled growing tired of elom's outburst

the group climbed out looking at their beach side home that would be their for the next month while they were visiting zion, "i call dibs on the biggest room" kekeli zoomed into the house with kailani and elom ran behind her

kailani flew up the stairs and hit a turn straight into the room that had the best view of the beach, "kai i wanted this room" elom pouted looking at the smiley girl who admired the view

"all you're gonna do is play fornite all day why waste a beautiful view on that" kailani shrugged watching elom roll his eyes and plopped down on her bed

her phone began to ring just as she went to take a selfie and it was none other than zion, "glttttt gang gang gang eskeittttt" zion yelled through the facetime call

"why are you not here i'm looking at your location you're obviously in california a twenty minute drive from me at that" zion finally calmed down placing the camera on his face

"well i was bringing my stuff in and claiming my room for the trip plus i wanted to see if mandy needed me for anything before i zoomed out the door" kailani explained to the impatient boy on the other end of the phone

"if you don't getcho ass over here already she gonna see you tonight anyways when we go for dinner so whatever she need she can get later" zion yelled again making kailani roll her eyes at the sound of his screechy voice

"fine send me your address and i'll be on my way" kailani watched him jump up and down before she hung up, the girl turned to see elom fast asleep with his backpack still on his back and phone in hand

kailani smiled at how peaceful he looked while she locked his phone and pulled his book bag off, she closed the door behind him once she left her room and made her way downstairs to mandy and kekeli who were already diving into the wine coolers.

"heading off to see zion already?" mandy asked noticing a different pep in her step

"he obviously can't wait until tonight" kailani shook her head letting out a chuckle thinking about her impatient bestfriend

"be safe and text me when you're there i'll let you guys know when dinner is ready" mandy handed her the keys to the rental car that sat in the garage

kailani walked into the garage climbing into the drivers seat instantly starting the car up before pulling out and driving off, she sat at her first red light turning on the radio on full blast as california love played. she rolled the windows down as she got on the highway admiring at the scenery, she couldn't believe she was in california better yet she couldn't believe she was on her way to see her bestfriend.
