Ahh, teens
Sweaty and hormonal kids who wear tight jeans and too much cologne for their own good, always trying to escape from any responsibilities.
That's how you ended up here, as the cash register in the Mistery Shack, covering Wendy Cordeuroy, your best friend that you also like to see as your little sister.
01:48 p.m. [An hour before]
"Huh, a favour you say?"
"Yes! I promise it's nothing hard, you just need to do a little something for me."
"So what's your plan then?" You say, sarcasm can be heard in your voice knowing that whatever it is, it won't be good. At least for you.
"Well, a friend of Thompson's is throwing a party and a lot of people are coming, and of course, I promised my friends I'll go" The red-headed teen says, fiddling a little with her fingers while looking away as you questionably nod for her to continue.
"And the party starts in like, a few hours but I have to finish my shift for today"
Oh boy here it comes.
"And as my loyal best friend, would you please cover me up for this once? I really want to go and I promised the boys I would be there, and-" You put a hand in front of the figure looking at you with pleading eyes, signalizing her to stop.
"You aren't one to be asking favours to people, I think, so I guess..." you sigh, but your lips act on their own and smile also knowing that she owes you a favour "I can do it for you."
You don't have time to react as she jumps at you, wrapping you in a hug you kindly return.
You finally let her go after a few seconds of her repeatedly saying 'Thank you' and 'You saved my life'.
"Well, you can go home to get ready for that party now!" You say to her, but as she reaches the door you add "But, remember you owe me one" as you playfully wink at her.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say" as she rolls her eyes, finally coming back to the same Wendy attitude.
