Peter groaned as he reached for a pillow and held it over his face. What time was it?
He groaned and tried to go back to sleep.
Wait.
He suddenly realized there was a cold empty spot where you had laid. He lifted his head and looked around. Did you leave? Was it because of the kiss?
Peter scratched his head. He really hoped you didn't leave. That would've sucked. He had plans for you two today too.
Peter perked up when he heard footsteps walking towards the couch.
"Oh hey Pete." You tiredly yawned.
"H-Hey," Peter scratched his head. "You didn't leave yet?"
You lifted your arms up by your sides. "Does it look like I left yet?"
Peter flushed. "...not really." He mumbled.
You chuckled and went into the kitchen. Peter got up and followed you.
"What were you doing?" He asked.
"Aunt May lended me some toothbrushes and other stuff since it looks like I'll be staying here for a while," You looked out the window, admiring the sky. "It's sunset so I'll just stay the night." You mumbled. "The skies are pretty."
Peter walked up besides you and slightly grinned. "Yeah, I know."
You tore your eyes away and looked around the kitchen, putting your hands on the counter. "Wanna make something?"
"Like what?" Peter asked. "We only have Mac and cheese?"
"Good enough for me," You hummed. You took out the box of Mac and cheese, "cause I'm hungry."
~
"THROW WATER! THROW WATER!" You screamed as the pot on the stove was on fire. On fire, the flames were as tall as the ceiling and you don't want to pay for burning down an apartment.
"I can't! It's a gas stove!" Peter yelled. He looked around the kitchen and pointed at the box of baking soda. "There! Grab that! That should help-"
You grabbed the cup that was next to it and smashed it on the pot that was still on fire.
"IT'S NOT WORKING!" You cried.
Peter inhaled and put his hands flat together, pointing it at you. "What in the actual heck did you think that was actually gonna work-"
You grabbed another cup and also smashed it on the pot.
"GIVE ME MORE CUPS!" You screeched, waving your hands around crazily.
"What?! No-!"
You grabbed a whole stack of plates and chucked them at the pot.
Peter sighed and walked over to where the fire extinguisher was, picked it up, than walked back to where you were still throwing plates and cups and took out the fire.
"Oh." You said as you slowly lowered the frying pan that you were about to throw. "T-That also helps." You mumbled and gently set the frying pan down.
Peter put the fire extinguisher back and turned to you.
"Why did you think throwing things at fire would've taken it out?"
"I'm not going on a date with fire."
......
Peter snorted while you smiled proudly. "Alright that was good."
"I know." You nodded.
"We still have to clean all this up." He mumbled and wearily eye the mess.
"...and than we could order pizza?"
"Since you caused this mess, I get to pick the pizza."
"What kind?"
"Pineapple."
Maybe Peter will confess tomorrow, right now, he's tired and just wants to eat pizza.
~
You sighed and stretched on the couch. Peter had already retired for the night and you were taking the couch for the night. You called Uncle June and he said the okay to stay the night at Peters.
You shuffled on over to the kitchen to get a glass of water when you heard your phone go off in your pocket.
You turned it on and read Cristines text.
"Aw shit, I heard there was some sort of robbery of some explosives or something near the harbour."
You groaned.
"Come on, I was about to sleeeeeeeep."
"Alright alright, get your beauty sleep while everyone else dies, I'll be here waiting"
You could practically feel Cristine rolling her eyes.
"Okay okay, send me the location to where I need to go."
~
You grunted as you smashed the people dressed in black into the large loading metal boxes. It was night time.
You looked around frantically. Oh god, which one has the explosives?
You heard webs shooting and looked up.
"Hey Spidey!" You said. He saluted you and landed next to you.
"Hey, know which one has the explosives?"
"Nope."
"Alright, I'll find it while you cover for me yeah?"
You nodded and got to work.
(Insert badass reader here)
~
"Alright, I think that's all." You breathed as you took out one of the last guys. "Jesus there were so many of them."
Spidey chuckled. "Yeah, now its easier now that I have a helping hand."
You chuckled. "Am I your sidekick now?"
He shrugged. "If you want to be."
"Hell no, I would rather be an awesome super hero instead of a sidekick."
"Hey, robins cool though."
"Batman's cooler though."
Peter shrugged. "You're not wrong."
He watched as you nodded your head. Than you looked around and checked the time.
"Welp, looks like I have to go, I'll see uh, see ya around." You started to walk away.
"Okay robin, see ya later!"
You rolled your eyes and shouted over your shoulder. "You're nowhere near a Batman!"
His voice suddenly went multiple octaves lower, doing a very bad Batman impression. "What do you mean? I am Batman."
You laughed and shook your head. "Alright alright."
Peter smiled before he shot a web and swing over you, waving and winking at you before he disappeared behind a building corner.
-yeah, i feel like this chapter sucks too-
