The Forgotten Childhood

Location: Hospital

"We couldn't fix her..."

"We are doing our very best, though we can't find a cure for her."

"You have to deal with this kind of child...finding cures won't help...we're sorry.."

Ayano Aishi, an emotionless child, was left as an emotionless child.

Her father wanted to have a normal child, he tried his very best to fix her condition, but it's no use.

Ayano...she never felt anything, like her whole body doesn't even have a soul and was only manipulated by a robot.

That's why she gets bullied...everyday...

She tried pretending to be like what other kids does, such as laughing, crying, screaming, and more emotions that they emote.

Her dad felt happy, but she still thinks...deep inside him, he only knew she was pretending...

Ayano never had friends...

"Honey! Dress up, there are visitors coming!"  shouted her dad.

Ayano nodded as she went to her bedroom to dress and fix herself up.

While she was preparing, she heard voices downstairs. It was pretty weird for her since they barely got visitors.

She went down.

"Ayano! This is Budo! Our neighbor! They came a visit. They just live beside our house."  Said her dad

"Hey Ayano! It's nice to meet you!" Said Budo

"Hello Budo, it's nice to meet you too!" Replied Ayano

"Wanna go outside?"

"Sure"

They both went out leaving their parents chatting from the living room.

A group of kids saw them and started playing with them.

Budo's POV:

"She seems like a normal girl just like the others...but why do I feel like she isn't? Like there is something...dark...behind that smile?"

"AH! Probably it's just me, isn't it? I ALWAYS overthink things.."

Budo and Ayano, became "close friends" , they grew up together, went in the same middle school.

"Promise me, Ayano-chan, we will always be together!"  said Budo, happily

"Of course! You are my best friend!"
Replied Ayano

Ayano's POV:

"Honestly...Over the years I've been with you...I don't even feel we are even best friends...No matter how kind and outgoing you are to me, I just don't know..."
