"So can I," she said, as if she had read my mind. Well, who's to say she didn't? This world has some weird things going on.
So, we did it. Our lips touched like a spark in the middle of the night sky. We were alone, but it felt as if a thousand eyes watched us, judging us, but I didn't care. We stayed like that for what seemed like forever, and I could never get enough.
I loved her. I really just loved her.
We seperated, breathing heavily but not caring.
She smiled, then shook her head playfully, as if she was a dog shaking water of it's fur. "Woah. That was..." she started, "mystical."
I just looked at her. I saw a young look in her eyes. But, an olden one as well. Her dress...this house...her accent...
Wait. Did I just get pulled back in time in another dimension!?!?
Y-you know what? I don't care. Pretty sure I did, but I don't care.
Ok, maybe I should care, a little bit?
"Are we rushing it? You know, we just met and now we're...you know..." I said, but so quietly I don't think she heard me. Or maybe she just ignored it.
"Oh, wait. How did you get here, anyway?" Chronodelipsy asked me. I took the gold thing out of my pocket and showed it to her.
She didn't take more than 3 seconds to look at it before she freaked the freak out and snatched it. "Where did you find this!?"
I sputtered out my answer. "Eh...I slammed my hand into a bookshelf and...uh...a hole...in the...uh....ceiling opened and...um...I got a ladder and climbed into the hole so...uh...There was notes up there and this thingy and the notes told me to spin the circles...and, uh...I did and I ended up here and I was see through and when I saw you I...uh...think I solidified or something like that."
She gave me the most confused face, then it softened out. "Oh. Ok. One question: Why were you banging on the bookshelf, wherever that may be."
I clapped my hands together once. "Well, your good old friend Seth here tried to find a cure for a sickness he didn't even know so he got mad and slapped the junk out of that ol' bookshelf."
Chrodelipsy stared at me with horror. Terrible horror.
"Whaaaaat?" I asked.
"You...your Seth...your name...you told me...but it's too early....too late to fix...you just...just changed time...in your world...." she sputtered, then faced her fire-filled eyes into mine, "And you have just started the DESTRUCTION. OF. MIIIIIIIIIINNNNNEEE!!"
I put my hands in front of my face. "Jeez, sorry. Can't we fix it, or something?"
Chronodelipsy just sputtered angrily. "Buh...mm...jh....deh...NO!! We can't fix it!" she then seemed to hit a lightbulb, "Well, maybe. Maybe we can. Maybe-"
She was cut off there by a giant hole ripping in the ground. The house was tearing apart, leading us to the large abyss of unknown...stuff. Then, I quickly remembered what she first said to me when I arrived to this strange world.
Time rips. You may be able to sustain, or you may think you can, but I cannot. Only once in a thousand do I see you, but this...it pains me. If you stay long, I will die. Time won't sustain me more than you. You have the upper hand.
Time won't sustain her more than me. She will die in this mess but time is going to only let me survive. She knew this. Oh, I screwed up.
"I-I'm sorry. For everything. You knew this would happen if I told you stuff about me. You won't be cared for by time. It's my fault. I'm...I'm just..." I stuttered so hard, to find words through my tears. But none came. I stood there, tears rolling but not being wiped off like they usually are. I welcomed them to my face. I let the water stream down.
