I felt my skin tingle once more as she stood there. She had the same tugging, hurting. It was stuck in her throat.
I felt like crying. I had no idea why.
She tensed her arms and walked towards me.
"You...you...my..." is all she said. She slammed into me, but lovingly. She put her body against mine, and I soon realized why. When we touched, I felt the tugging leave. But also, it left something I had never known. A sort of tough love, or pained love.
I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I smiled.
Forever, I let her embrace me. She left me, staring in my eyes.
A step back both of us took, and exhaled slowly.
"You are not aware. Time rips, have you heard of them?" the girl asked.
"Time rifts?" I asked.
She shook her head. "Time rips. You may be able to sustain, or you may think you can, but I cannot. Only once in a thousand do I see you, but this...it pains me. If you stay long, I will die. Time won't sustain me more than you. You have the upper hand."
She kept on, "I am held on by the brink of time and space. I will die."
"It hurts."
That is all I can say. It hurts. That's it. She looked at me, with tears.
"It hurts?"
"Yeah. It's like it's pulling me. Or maybe tugging. I'm not sure. But I just...it's nothing I can put into words. Just is."
She sighed. "What's your name?" then added quickly, "WAIT! NO! Do not tell me your name until we are sure we won't disrupt anything! Please, do not!"
"Alright. I'm...human. You?"
"Also human. Where were you born?"
"Somewhere in Wyoming."
"Wyoming? What's a Wyoming? Where is it?"
I realized I wasn't where I thought I was...I'm not even on Earth!
This just gets weirder and crazier by the second!
"Um...Earth. A living Planet."
"Ohh..." she looked slyly, "Do you love me?"
I blushed, speechless. "Buh...um...eh..." I stuttered. I straightened out then, and said, "Not sure. But I'm leaning towards yes. That tugging meant something."
"Yes, it did. It led us here. But really, what are we doing here? Why?"
I thought about it and shrugged. Suddenly, I felt shy and small against confident...uh...
"Well, can you tell me your name?"
She nodded. "Since I'm from here, your information about me won't affect our being here. I'm Chrodelipsy."
Ok, let's rewind to that other sentence.
Suddenly, I felt shy and small against confident Chrodelipsy. She was so interesting and full of wisdom and smarts. I'm just old Seth. I glanced at Chrodelipsy, noticing her beautiful features:
She has long, wavy, black hair that flows down to her waist. She's tall, about my height. I think she's 20-ish, since I'm 26. Her skin is lightly tanned, but fair and beautiful. Her hands are delicate, and her dress is a wonderful aqua Sleeping-Beauty type dress (minus the weird white shoulder thingys). Her face is small but very curved. Just enough to where it looked perfect. I noticed she has not red lips, but almost brown ones. Her eyes are almond shaped and have mascara. Or maybe they're natural. I wonder. But she's just perfect. I could just imagine our lips touching...
