Nalria

    Let me introduce you to the continent of Nalria. A place where various dragon species live together in clans, tribes, and kingdoms. Even though they live close to one another, each are different in there own unique way.

   The Cove kingdom is as its name implies, is on the east coast of Nalria. This thriving kingdoms best known for its vast resources and sprawling markets filled to the brim with fresh seafood and vegetation you can’t find anywhere else. The Aven wyverns who live here are extremely bird like. Having long necks, long beaks, waterproof feathers commonly with seabird like patterns, and webbed feet. Aven dragons have a pouch in their necks that once filled with salt water, can increase temperature to a boiling point. They often use this adaptation in hunting tactics and for cooking pray. Boiling, Nets, cages, Spears, and simply diving are also common methods of Aven hunting.

 The Terror Mountains is a large range of mountains located on the south east of Nalria and somewhat close to Cove Kingdom. The dragons who live are called Terrors. The mountains tops terrors live in are freezing cold. Commonly snowing almost year round. As a result of this, terrors have developed thick almost lion like manes and have patches insulated feathers and a odd version of fire. They have sacks full of a liquid in their snouts and beaks that are able to ‘open’ where they are then able to dispense this fluid. Once it gets to around freezing temperatures and is introduced to oxygen this liquid burst into a cold blue flame like form that will suck away the cold from anything it touches to stay alight. Sensors adorn their heads allowing them to better detect changes in strong mountain air while gliding. Added the low oxygen they constantly live in the have also developed large lungs. There Society and government are based on strong rules and order. They are required to wear armbands that show rank divided by color and are known for their power an ear splitting battle cries.

  The wind tribes are the last of the three major territories. Aloren dragons are quite odd looking compared to the other dragons. With almost all of the dragon species without any type of horn or antlers, Alorens happen to have both. Each gender have loosely deer or moose like antlers that shed in the winter. They also have a horn around the center of their forehead and large deer like ears, feathered wings, long scaly body’s, long tails, and able to be a wide variety of colors. They are commonly known for there beautiful musical talents and elegant craftsmanship. Aloren dragons also commonly dye and paint their feathers in bright and intricate patterns. Aloren dragons also farm insects such as bees, beetles,  wasps, worms, snails and other critters, which are eaten in a variety of ways whether it be honey dipped, sugar coated, baked, salted or raw.

   The smaller territory dragons are classified as clans instead of kingdoms. There are only two known clans inhabiting Nalria such as the small clan of Burlnd, a mining town where dragons are called Lagri. These dragons are completely featherless, instead having thick black and orange scales and spiraling horns. They live in the south west black mountains. The last known clan lives in the north known simply as the sea dragons . Not much is commonly known about them. They are rarely seen outside their territory, a bundle of islands far off the Nalria cost. The last formal meeting they had was with a coastal tribe in the wind territory around 20 years ago. They are featherless and are recorded to have swordfish or sailfish like bills and a large fin on their backs. They have been seen in blues, blacks, and browns but most likely can be a range of other colors.
