Chapter 1

"So what happened back in the Apartments" The voice of the news woman echoed the room.

"I've told you countless times what happened." A sigh erupted from the blue haired male.

"C'mon Sal or maybe I should call you boo-bear?" A chuckle was heard from the camera guy as the news woman spoke.

"Don't. Call. Me. That." Sal growled lowly his blue eyes piercing into her brown ones.

"Oh? Does that name ring a bell possibly from someone close to you?" She teased slightly looking at his fidgety hands.

"Only she got to call me that.." he mumbled slightly looking away.

"How about you tell us what happened and I'll stop calling you that" She looked at him with a sly smile.

"Fine" Sal agreed letting out a sigh before starting his story.

"It's all started when Y/n first moved into the Apartments"

A sigh left your throat as you placed down the last brown box. A smile replaced your uncomfortable expression.

"Ah that's the final box! Dad I've finished moving everything into my room!" You smiled walking out into the living area.

"Good thing Kiddo! Can you do me a favour and head down to Mr Addison apartment to get me a cup of tea I really need one!" He let out a soft chuckle as he rubbed his brown stubble.

"Yeah sure! I won't be long!" You smiled heading towards the door and opening it.

"Hang on kiddo! When you get there make sure you say Addison tea please and thank you Alright?"

"Yeah alright" you close the door before heading off to the bottom floor to get your dad some of that famous tea.

"Larry get back here!" A voice yelled from behind you.

It all happened so fast you didn't know how to comprehend it. Once you was stood up then you were on the floor with a girl on top of you.

"Owww oh god I'm sorry!" She yelped frantically getting up and helping you up as well.

"Heh it's fine!" You smiled taking her hand and getting up then dusting yourself off.

"So your new to the Apartments?" She asked rubbing the back of her neck.

"Yeah the names Y/n!" You smiled shaking her hand it felt rather rough for a female but you didn't think much of it.

"Nice to meet you my names Sal or as my friends like to call me Sally Face!" She smiled that was when it all clicked in place.

"Wait Sal....you're a guy?!" Your faces held a lot of confusion which made him let out a loud chuckle.

"Yeah I am" Sal wiped a tear that had formed in his eye from all the laughing.

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" You apologised multiple times frantically waving your hands around.

"It's fine it happens a lot...to be honest I'm surprised you haven't asked about my prosthetic" He pointed to the white mask hiding his face.

"It's nothing strange to be honest" you smiled patting his arm causing him to let out a thankful sigh.

"Wait this isn't strange?" Sal asked looking rather confused in the eyes as that was the only part you could see.

"Yeah when I used to live in Texas there was boy in my primary school that had a prosthetic arm and leg so nothing new" you explained.

"Y/n where's my....ohh your making friends I'm proud!" Your dad opened the door slightly and saw what was happening.

"Dad!!" You whined towards him only making him let out his fatherly chuckle and close the door.

"Anyway I need to go find my friend Larry I'll see you around?" Sal looked at you as you smiled.

"Yeah see you around!" You waved him goodbye as he took off sprinting off down the hallway yelling.

A giggle left your mouth as you walked back to you room opening the door and closing it completely forgetting about getting your dad his tea.

"Y/n Pizza's here hurry up and get it before I feed it to Kila!" Your dad yelled towards your door.

"I'm coming I'm coming!" You laughed walking out of your room in your pink booty shorts and white tank top.

"Yours is to the left of the microwave  kiddo!" You nodded and walking grabbing some of your f/p.

"Thanks dad" you plopped yourself on to your teal couch and started eating.

"So how are feeling about this place?" Your dad asked opening a can of diet cola.

Your dad wasn't much of a drinker not after what happened between your old step mother and him. He didn't want to hurt any more people especially you.

"It's nice. I just need to make some more friends and I'm sure it'll be fantastic!" You giggled as your father chuckled.

"I'm glad you like it here kiddo! This is gonna be our home forever.." You dad muttered the last bit under his breath but you still managed to hear it.

"These people are stupid" you mumbled looking towards your T.V and taking a sip from you soda.

"I know they all go into the one place you shouldn't go only to end up getting killed" your dad grumbled stroking Kila you grey tabby cat.

Your dad and you hated people in horror movies as they all did super idiotic stuff. However you both enjoyed laughing about the characters stupidity.

"Alright kiddo! Off to bed it's already past 12 you need to socialise tomorrow now go!" He picked you up causing you to let out a squeal.

"Ok ok! I'm going!" You both laughed whilst walking to your rooms and closing the door.

You sighed happily as you climbed into you double bed pulling your f/c blankets over your body.

"This was a good first impression..." you sighed happily closing your pale eye lids slowly letting sleep take over.

However you didn't get to sleep for long as a scream echoed throughout the halls making you shoot up out of bed.

"What the hell!" You yelled sprinting to your door and throwing it open only to see your dad with a horrified expression.

"What just happened..." you asked looking towards the door.
