Chapter 2- The Job
10 seconds later Darren came with the manager who happens to be called Tom.
“What happen?!” Darren and tom said at the same time.
“It’s… it’s…” I mumbled
“It’s what?” Darren said while walking towards me
“It’s the last copy of the album “Brand New Eyes” by paramore” I said
“Yeah??” was all Darren said I give him the are-you-stupid look.
“It’s been out for a year and only a copy is left and I want it… how much?” I asked Darren
“Uh… 30 dollars” he said “umm… you didn’t tell me your name?”
“Oh sorry, my name is Tennese “I said while giving him the 30 dollars. I turn to the manager (Tom) before Darren said anything else.
“What do you want to apply for?” said Tom
“With the music, casher and stuff” I replied
“ok there are some question that I need to ask you before u get the job” tom said
“Ok... Bring it on…” I answered
“Mention 3 songs from the band Queen” tom asked
I heard a laugh coming from Darren “I bet she doesn’t even now who queen is”
“Oh really… ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’, ‘we Will Rock you’, and ‘we are the champions’ happy” I answered
The face that Darren had it was price less I took a picture just for a reminder
“Ok good… mention one of Michel Jackson songs” tom asked
“mmmmh… ‘Black And White’” I answered
He was impressed with my answers and so was Darren
“Ok you got the job be here tomorrow at 3pm” with that he walk off to his office. I went to the door and took the “hiring” sign off.
“We won’t need this anymore” I said and Darren laughed
I walked around and fund this school it looks like a university to me but it said ‘Washington high school’ I walked inside and registered for junior class.(yeah I skipped a grade don’t bug me I’m a nerd). Luckily the school has a dorm room. After I did everything I went to the motel to get my stuff when I found a shadow sitting beside the window, I turn on the light when I saw who it was I froze….
