A READ ONLY CHAPTER
the ball was lovely. it was simply lovely. perhaps a bit dry and boring, but the scenery was gorgeous and the small talk wasn't completely unbearable. it was a pleasant night, maybe not the best on record, but it certainly wasn't terrible.
those were the thoughts going through some people's heads as the large windows over looking the gardens shattered. men dressed in midnight blue were suddenly coming through, entering the ball, guns firing. guards rushed to meet them in combat, and all the ladies in heels and men in dress shoes rushed to get away
a small group of guards was commanded to herd the selected and get them to the nearest safe room. a few guards themselves took it upon themselves to get the princesses to safety, taking them to a completely different safe room.
the ball had gone to hell.
when all the rebels had either been subdued or had somehow fled, the ballroom was still. the floor was wet with blood, that of rebels, guards, and guests.
absolute hell.

ASH'S NOTE: i know what you're thinking, 'why the hell did you finally post another chapter but we cANT EVEN RP ON IT'. well, my dear friends, i just really didn't want to rp this, so sorry, but it's important to the plot. this certainly won't be the last time you see the rebels. anywho, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NEXT FEW SENTENCES: more information about the attack will be in the next chapter (which will be posted as soon as i write it) and that will be a roleplay chapter (finally). just wait y'all. this is starting back up 💛
