2 days Maya's POV
"Mamas" Zion says shaking me "Yeah?" I say "Time to get ready for school" He says. "Okay" I say sitting up. He leaves and I walk into the bathroom and get ready.
School
I walked in Miss.Greens room. "Maya is actually a cry baby like boo hoo my mom died boo hoo my dad left, shes always talking about it as if she wants people to feel bad for her" I hear Roman say to the 'Popular' Kids. "Yeah like go cry to your 'dads' idk y they adopted her to be honest" Nolan (one of the popular kids) said. I sit in my seat and slowly start to cry trying to hold them back. I thought he was my best friend.
"Hey Maya what's wrong?" Briana asks "Nothing" I say low "No tell me" She says "Im fine!" I yell "Okay.." she says and does her work
Lunch
I sat at lunch all by myself. Briana tried to sit next to me but I asked her to leave me alone for today. Roman try and talk to me but I just walked away from him.
Roman POV
Why is Maya mad at me? What did I do to her?
Home;Maya's POV
I walked home and went straight to my room not wanting to talk to anyone. but of course they had to walk in. "Hey Princess how was school?" Brandon asks "Fine." I said kinda angry "You good Mi amor?" Edwin said "I said Im fine! what do people not understand?!" I yell
"Beautiful what happened?" Austin asks "I dont wanna talk about it!" I say "Babygirl you can tell us anything" Nick says "Yeah mama" Zion says "Guys please go" I say. "Mama-" Zion gets cut of by Brandon.
"Guys give Princess her space" "Okay" they was walking away "How could he do that to me?"I say to myself
An Hour later
I walk downstairs and sit on the couch next to Brandon and Zion. It was silent. I then speak up. "Guys i'm sorry about early I.. I-" I get cut off by crying. All the boys hug me. "Shh Princess take your time" Brandon says. I take a deep breath and hold on my moms necklace.
"I heard Roman talking about me badly with the popular kids saying how I always talk about mom and I want people to feel bad for me" I say "Princess-" "Then Nolan one of the popular kids said I don't know why the guys even adopted her" I say crying in Brandon's arms
"Princess no don't listen to them they are just trying to bring you down. Don't let them get the satisfaction of bringing you down princess" Brandon says
"Brandon I miss mommy" I say "I know you do bubs. She will always be with you tho. She's watching over on you in haven. She will always be with you in there" he says pointing to my heart
"Yeah Mamas don't let them win" Zion says "Thanks guys" "Your welcome princess" Brandon says "On Monday when I see Roman Im just gonna ignore him" I say "Yeah do that" Austin says "I'm going to sleep I'm tired" I say
"It's only 5" "Ik goodnight" I say
