The Secrecy

Introduction

                 "You got to keep on running, Layla. Run! Don't look back." The fear of my mother's voice kept on echoing throughout my head, Only soon to be woken by the very alarm clock, ringing throughout my room. Looking at the time, it read, 6:35 am; looks like it's time to get up. Uncovering my self from the warmth of my covers, to only be welcome of the nice cold air reaching every part of my flesh that is exposed. Walking toward my closet, I change into some legging, a sports bra, and put on my running shoes.  Running down the stairs, heading straight for the door, locking it.

Taking in the nice rainy scent, I ran outside of my home, into the forest. As I am running very fast, I could hear, 'howling'   Lilly, my wolf getting all excited that I can feel that she wants to take full control. Getting further deep in the forest, I give her the 'okay'. Feeling my bones changing amongst my very skin; feeling my once hands turn into paws, as they hit the ground. I watch as  Lilly is bouncing around, running until it was time to go back home. Before reaching home, I look around to see if there where anyone around watching, seeing that the coast was clear, I shifted back.

Walking inside, I ran upstairs into the bathroom to start up the shower. While I waited for the water to heat up, I went to my room to grab clothes.  Entering the shower, I felt the warmth of the water creep upon my skin, hitting each part of it making sure that it got completely drenched. Getting out, I dried my body, started to get dressed to be ready for the hell hole called the Riverstained High school. Getting one last glimpse of myself in the mirror, That's when I saw the little scar on my neck...

"Please, I'll do anything just leave my daughter alone. "  Leaning against the door I could hear mommy was talking to someone, As I tried to get a good hear as who's voice it was. the door opens fastly, having me fall on the wooden floor. "Layla go back to your ro-" My mother is cut off by this oddly stranger, "Ah not so quickly, Layla, that's your name, right?"  I nodded as I look down on the floor. " Layla, look at me."   "no Layla do-" I heard a smacking sound as I shot my head up to see the stranger slapped my mother to shut her up. " Now darling, look at me." I just nodded no. That is when I felt the very grips of him roughly grabbing my neck. I can sense that his wolf is now in controlled, His sharp crawls starting to dig into my neck. I'm strangling to let go, yet it is hard to do so with the little amount of breath I have inside of me. "Let go of her!" After hearing that sentence is when I see that my mother now has taken in her wolf form knocking the stranger out, to soon be dead. That is the last thing I see as I soon blackout.

Shaking my head, I  take one look and that gets me out of the door to leave to the hell hole. After about 10 mins, I finally arrive. I go to my locker but as I'm walking their I see someone who is new in the hallway but as always I brushed it off because there seems that this school is constantly getting new kids every day. Getting what I need, I close the locker shut. As I Go around the Corner to go to my first class, English. Im suddenly slammed into the wall, to meet a pair of green eyes, that oddly looks familiar. That is when it hits me, I am now not the only one here who knows my secret.
