+~Chapter 1+~

**Lizzie's POV**

"Joel please can we adopt a child" I begged,
"Okayyy fine however we need to be able to make time for the child that means taking out time from our YouTube videos are you sure you want to make that sort of commitment" Joel replied,
"Would I really be asking you if I wasn't ready to make that sort of commitment" I put my hands on my hips and narrowed my eyes at him tilting my head to the side,
"Okay I will make an appointment for 1pm tomorrow is that good?" He said with a smile,
"Thank you thank you thank you Joel!" I squealed bouncing from sofa to sofa excitedly. "I can't wait to do a good thing I am so ready for this" I said to myself.

**Time skip to 12:30pm**

"Joel hurry up it's 12:30 we are going to be late!" I shouted so he could here me through the walls,
"Okay okay calm down I'm sure we will make it on time....no I know we will make it on time"
He started running around the house like mad shouting "Where are the car keys!" I looked over to the side and saw them sitting there. I grabbed them and yelled "I got them let's go!" We sprinted out to the car locking the house behind us and drove off as fast as we could trying not to get a speed ticket on the motorway.

**Willows POV**

Dear diary,                                        8/12/18
I'm turning into a teenager soon and nobody would want to adopt teenager would they? It's been 8 years since I was put in this place and I haven't had someone come up to me and say "Oh we might adopt you" or "Your very nice." Nobody wants me as a kid. Well it's only 12:30 so I still have the rest of the day to go. I will update on the rest of my day later.

**Lizzie's POV*

We got to the adoption centre at 1:10 so we were 10 minutes late. I did a speed walk into the centre whilst telling Joel to hurry up (he is the biggest slow coach in the UK). We signed in at the reception for our appointment and was taken through to where the kids were sitting down playing on iPads and phones. But then this one girl caught my eye. She was sitting in the corner of the room reading a book. We started to walk over to her when she looked up in awe, and said "Omg you're Ldshadowlady and you're Smallishbeans, I must be dreaming,
this can't be real you both are my favourite YouTubers in the whole world I have to be your number 1 fan"
I replied excitedly saying "What's your name,"
She answered with her voice cracking "My..my..Name is...Will..ow...my name is Willow to let you guys in on a secret you are the first people to actually talk to me in this place,"
My eyes welled up and a traitor fell out but I wiped it away before she could see it "Well I hope we see you again Willow"

**Time skip to end of appointment**

Joel and I did a slow stroll up to the front desk and asked if we could adopt Willow as a surprise. Luckily the receptionist said we could and all we had to do was sign half a dozen papers and we had adopted Willow. We were picking her up tomorrow morning and I was so excited to see the smile on her face again.
