I based this on the theory of
The player and Kris are 2 separate entities, when the ending happens it's not some scary jumpscare shoved there for the shake of it or Kris suddenly turning evil for no reason. It's Kris rejecting the players influence on them, that the player won't have control over kris' actions, further instilling the "your choices don't matter" message the game is giving you.
I found it a fun theory to draw to Tada~
