Peter Parker is a not so average kid. He is the top in all of his classes and not to mention his alter ego Spider-Man, who protects New York. Peter also has an internship at the one and only Stark Industries. He is Tony Stark's personal intern. They often spend time in Tony's personal lab, but that is not where this story begins.

Peter is in his last class of the day Math. He couldn't wait to go to the internship and hangout with Tony after school today. Peter has come up with a plan to distract Tony because he is very stressed out with the Accords. Five minutes later, the bell that signals school is over rang through the classrooms. Peter races out of the school after saying a quick goodbye to Ned.

Happy is waiting at the entrance of Midtown High. When Peter spots the black car Happy drives, he runs and enters the car. "Hey Happy!" Peter exclaims as he sat down in the car. Happy grunts in acknowledgement before rolling up the divider, so he won't have to listen to the younger boy rant.

When Peter arrives at the tower(For plot convenience, Avengers Tower is never sold, but everything else involving the Vulture happens. The objects in Avengers Tower were just being moved to the compound.), he sprints out of the car after yelling a thank you to Happy. Happy just drives away, but before he does, a small smile spreads across his face.

When Peter enters the large building, he immediately pulls out his key card. As Peter swipes his key card, FRIDAY says in a happy voice, "Good afternoon Peter! How was school?" Peter's smile grows bigger as he responded to FRIDAY, while entering Tony's personal elevator, "It was good FRIDAY. Is Mr. Stark in the lab?" FRIDAY's irish accent fills the room, "Yes, Boss is currently in the lab right now. Would you like me to bring you to him?" Peter replies, "Yes please, FRIDAY. Thank you." FRIDAY then brought Peter to Tony's personal lab.

Tony Stark is tinkering with his Iron Man suit in all of his glory. "Mr. Stark," Peter calls out to the older man, while putting his backpack by the chair of the desk he works out. "Kid, how many times do I need to tell you to call me Tony?" the older man replies, while turning around to face the cheerful kid standing in his lab. Peter scratches the back of his neck, and a nervous chuckle escapes his throat. "I'm sorry Mr. Stark," Peter replies. Tony lets out a sigh before returning to work on his Iron Man suit. Meanwhile, Peter starts his homework instead of continuing any of the projects he has started. Tony raises an eyebrow, but doesn't say anything to Peter.

After Peter finishes all of his homework, he tries to announce his plan to his mentor, "Uh, Mr. Stark, um, I was wondering that instead of working in the lab tonight that we could watch a movie?" A silence falls over the two, and Peter immediately regrets his decision. "That's so stupid of me. What was I," Peter starts, but Tony cuts him off, "That's a great idea Underoos!" Tony knows that Peter knows that he is stressed out with the Accords. Peter is always selfless and looking out for others.

Tony then leads them out to the kitchen. He has an arm draped around Peter's shoulders. They are going to get snacks and refreshments for the movie. Peter looks astonished at all the boxes of poptarts that are in the cabinet and grabs a box for the movie. After finding all the refreshments and snacks that they want for the movie, Tony and Peter head over to the lounge. They grab blankets and get comfy on the couch. "So what movie you want to watch kid?" Tony asks. Peter thinks for a moment before his face lights up with a smile. "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back," he responds looking up at his father figure. Tony just sighs and asks FRIDAY to play the movie.

During the movie, Peter snuggles into Tony's side. Tony looks down at his kid. Wait, his kid? When did Peter become his kid? Tony thought about it, while watching the movie. He treats Peter like his kid. There is no denying it. Tony smiles at the thought, "Peter is my kid."

When the movie finishes, Tony forgot about all the stresses of the Accords and was planning on driving his kid back to his Aunt May's. As Peter is grabbing his stuff, the elevator dings. Peter and Tony snap their attention in the direction of the sound. There lies the Rogue Avengers stepping out of his elevator in his penthouse.

Silence overcomes the two groups as they stare each other down. Peter steps in front of his father figure protectively as he knows that something happened the last time Tony saw Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes. The Rogue Avengers' eyes grow wide as they see the young boy in front of them look ready for a fight.
