Morgan was feeling horribly ill from standing inside the small, loud house for too long.
Teenaged bodies all crowded around her, grinding against one another slowly to the music that was blaring from the speakers in the front of the house.
The entire house she was in reeked of alcohol and sweat, and all of the people that were in the room were causing it to be a bit humid as well.
Morgan hated it all. She hated standing there in the middle of all this, shaken and alone. Her friends were off doing God knows what, and Morgan didn't feel comfortabl tagging along with them after all of the other shenanigans they had pulled earlier on in the night.
Morgan was at the point in the party where people were slurring their words and were hardly able to walk in the drunken state they were in. A guy even tried making a move on her, but she was too sober, and too smart to allow him to defile her in such a manner.
She was able to escape from him and she stormed out of the house, tears welling in her eyes.
She waited until she was a far enough distance from the party, and she started to cry; one thing she hated more than anything else in the world was allowing herself to appear weak or vunerable in front of others, so she preferred to cry alone.
She continued to walk through the forest that surrounded the house she was in.
She knew her way around the forest, and she had a fairly good working GPS system on her phone she could use if she were somehow able to get lost while walking.
Her eyes soon became puffy from all the crying she had been doing, and she was starting to become cold from being outside for too long without her jacket on.
"It's about time I headed back inside..." She muttered to herself. She needed to pick up her jacket and her car anyways so that she could finally return home and forget this whole senior graduation party ordeal, and have a better celebration with her family instead.
Her friends were the only reason Morgan had even showed up to the party in the first place. Morgan soon started to regret allowing her friends to drag her all the way out here. She had no interest in attending some house party with a bunch of people she didn't know; she knew how this party would turn out; a house full of drunken teenagers. She knew the whole thing spelled trouble.
But, being the person she was, Morgan didn't want to let her friends down, so of course she went with them anyways.
"Stupid... How could I have been so naive- I let them take advantage of me, and look where that got me." Morgan grumbled. At this point, she was just talking to herself.
She continued to make her way back to the house.

{First person P.O.V}

I look down at my phone... I've been walking around this forest for about an hour. I should've been back by now.
I open up my apps, and find that I seem to be having trouble with my service too, because when I tried pulling up my so called 'reliable' GPS system on my phone, it doesn't work.
I throw up my hands and swear under my breath. My phone was literally just working a second ago, I wonder why it's messing up now.
I sigh and drag my feet behind me a little. The stillness from the forest around me was starting to become a bit... unsettling.
In order to combat the chilling silence of the woods, I took some earbuds out of my pocket and plugged them into my phone. I placed each earbud in either ear and began to play one of my music mixes. I shoved my phone along with my hands into my jean pockets and continue to walk.
Damn, I wish I had brought my jacket with me... I didn't expect to be walking around out here for so long.
I started to shiver.
....
"Are you... cold?"
I hear a low, raspy voice quietly whisper to me. That's strange, I'm supposed to be the only one out here. I shrug it off, thinking it was an out of place song lyric in the music I was listening to.
But then I hear it again.
"I... asked you a question..."
There's that strange voice again. I pause my music and looked over my shoulder.
...
Nothing.
I started to hasten my walk. I wanted to get out of this fucking place as quickly as possible now. I feel as if I'm no longer alone.
I hear a dark laugh reverberating off of the trees around me
...
"How rude... Don't you know how to answer when spoken to?"
The voice teases me.
Okay, screw that. I start to run. I run like my life depends on it. It almost feels like it does. This forest is causing me to lose my mind.
Obviously.
Why else would I be hearing such strange things? I look up and see a light. It was the house! I run, my lungs stinging from my sharp intakes of air and the bitter coldness that surrounded me. I lunge towards the porch, feeling relieved.
...
That's strange.
Why have I stopped moving?
...
There was a moment of silence again before I hear something.
...
"You're not getting away from me that easily..."
That God forsaken voice again.
I was paralyzed. I couldn't move at all.
I whipped my head around and saw a tall, unusual dark figure hovering above me. This must've been the thing holding me down.
"What do you want from me?" I say sternly, making an angry face towards whatever or whoever the hell was holding me down. I refuse to show weakness; I wanted to make it clear not to mess with me.
I hear it snicker slowly.
"What do I want?" The deep voice says.
"...I want you to go to sleep."
My vision fades in and out before finally going blank.
