A/N: I decided to write a new story so I could switch between Skool Luv Affair and this! Hopefully it will encourage me to write more and stop my writers block.

It was a bright, sunny day. Birds were singing, the trees dancing, the smell of flowers wafting through the warm spring air.

Kim Taehyung was leaning out of his bedroom window, smiling to himself as he watched the people of Daegu moving through the crowded streets.

He was so caught up in the beautiful day that he didn't notice when one of his maids knocked on the door.

"Prince Tae?" Taehyung has told all the maids to be less formal, not very comfortable with being called Prince Kim.

Taehyung swiftly moved to the door, opening it and bowing as he smiled at the woman in front of him.

"Hello Ms.Mae! Did you need something?"

The older woman smiled at him with a nod.

"Prince Park of Busan is coming over today to discuss the need of a new knight for you."

Taehyung smiled happily as he clasped his hands together.

"Oh that's right! Can you make us some tea and cookies? I'll have him meet me in the garden to talk because It's such a nice day out!"

Ms.Mae nodded as she turned around, closing the door behind her.

Taehyung sighed happily, not being able to stay still. He hadn't seen Jimin in person for a long time, although the two talked with their Express Pads. They were similar to electronic tablets although the feature to talk to each other popped out of the screen, as if though they were actually in front of each other. It wasn't the same as being in person though, the sounds being somewhat dulled.

Taehyung lived in the center of Daegu in a floating castle, waterfalls pouring down the sides of the castle to a large lake below. The lake was said to bring good luck to those who wished upon it during a full moon. It was an annual tradition that started when the lake was first created.

The castle was also very different looking to what castles looked like in the past. The world had gone somewhat cyberpunk. Although the land was cleaner than the past after engineers learned to reuse materials easier and more efficiently.

A/N: Imagine these pictures brighter and happier, and imagine the temple as being more cyberpunk/futuristic. Also, I don't own any of these pictures. I give complete credit to whoever made these.

Taehyung quickly got dressed in skin tight black leggings that had light purple stripes running down the sides. He put on a crop too light purple hoodie to match, black stripes running down the sleeves of the hoodie. He brushed his silver hair, the ends dyed purple, out of his eyes and clipped on a long dangling earring. After applying some eyeliner and clear lip gloss, Tae walked downstairs and to the garden where he waited for Jimin to arrive.

"Prince Tae! Prince Park is here!" Ms.Mae called.

Taehyung ran to the front door and hugged Jimin immediately, the two giggling like little kids.

"TaeTae!"

"ChimChim!"

Ms.Mae stood a few feet away from the two, chuckling happily with a smile on her face.

"Come sit with me in the garden. I had Ms.Mae make tea and cookies for us!" Taehyung exclaimed happily as he interlaced his fingers with Jimin's.

Jimin nodded as he followed Taehyung to the garden where the two sat down. Ms.Mae placed the tea and cookies down on a stone table in front of them before bowing and leaving.

"So, how are you?" Taehyung asked as he picked up a cookie.

"We just talked last night, but I'm doing good!" Jimin smiled at Taehyung, picking up his cup and taking a sip of his tea. "I think I've found someone to be your bodyguard, or knight as you like to call it."

"Calling my bodyguard a knight is fancy. It makes me feel like more of a prince. Haven't you read stories from the past where princes really had knights? They never called their protectors bodyguards." Taehyung stated.

Jimin just laughed.

"Yes I have read the stories. But getting back on topic," Jimin took a bite of a cookie he picked up. "I think I've found the perfect knight for you. His name is Jeon Jungkook and he's a childhood friend of mine. He's also the same age as us, 20."

Taehyung nodded, tilting his head to the side curiously as he asked questions about this Jeon Jungkook.

"So he's pretty strong because he has a lot of muscles. And he is intimidating, but he has a baby face and can be pretty cute at times," Jimin laughed.

Taehyung laughed too, very excited to meet Jungkook. He sounded like he would make the perfect knight for him.

A/N: What'd you think? Was it good? I would love to hear feedback on how to develop this story! This time i'm going to take my time with the storyline and develop the relationships between the characters a bit slower. I hope that everyone will want me to continue this story! See you in the next chapter! I purple you! 💜
