It's been two months since the fall of Beacon. I've watched over Lilac every day as my wounds healed. Every day I see her in that bed I blame myself. If only I'd made a better choice. She wouldn't have put herself at risk and she wouldn't have gotten paralyzed. But if Beacon has shown me one thing it's that there are some people too far gone to be redeemed.

As soon as Lilac was up and moving around I left. I hopped the first boat to Anima. I've been thinking a lot about the state of things. How can an organization of such pure intent be bent to bring such chaos and destruction? I'm broken from my thoughts by someone sitting next to me on the boat. "Oh, I'm sorry. Do you mind if I sit here?" I shrug and she sits down. "Hey, I'm June."

"Aries."

"Oh, like the god of war?"

"No, the zodiac. A-r-i-e-s. The god of war is A-r-e-s. "

"Where you headed?" she asks curiously.

"Anima."

"Well, yeah, but where?"

"Wherever my journey takes me. Where are you headed?"

"I'm headed to Lake Matsu, I'm a photographer and I've always wanted to get a look at it's magnificent floating Islands. So, what is it that you do?"

"I'm...well. I'm not much of anything right now. I was a huntsman attending Beacon but, well we all know what happened there. Right now, I'm on a mission of my own design."

"What's that?" She almost had a sense of concern in her voice. I stand up and keep my back to her. "Eliminate every last member of the White Fang." I don't give her a moment to respond as I walk away. The boat takes two months to get to Anima, in that time I managed to make everyone on the ship wary of the guy in the black cloak. Save for that photographer. She just seemed to watch me from a distance. Concern ever present in her aura. We arrive at the dockside town and I stock up on dust.

I spend the next month canvassing the area, trying to find any lead toward local White Fang activity. I search everywhere, talk to everyone, alive and dead. I find nothing. "Argh! why do they protect those, criminals!"

"Maybe because they're scared." The sudden voice makes me jump. I turn around and see Amelia standing there. "How the...what the..."

"Did you forget ghosts exist?"

"No! I just thought you were bound to Beacon. And that you weren't following me!"

"Well since that dragon showed up, Beacon's been lonely. No one walked its halls or visited the courtyard." I feel bad for getting upset, guess since Beacon fell I've been a little on edge. "Okay, you can hang with me. But don't sneak up on me like that."

"Okay."

"So how did you get away from Beacon?"

"Well, spirits come in many types. There are ones like me called wandering spirits. We've been laid to rest but our purpose isn't complete so we wander the globe looking to fulfill it. Then there are lost souls..." she pauses and gets a solemn look on her face. "Those spirits, poor things, their bodies were never laid to rest. Nor were their spirits. Their souls are bound to where they died. Doomed to be trapped there, mindlessly wandering until their spirit finds peace." I feel dread overtake me. All those souls, trapped. I had to see it for myself so I relax and project my mind into Vale. I look around and see nothing but horrors. Their dead eyes blankly staring at the ground as they just aimlessly move about. My heart sinks as the familiar faces come into view. Fellow students, friendly faces from the city. I return to my body, rage filling me. I grab my cloak and scythe and storm into a local pub. "I'm looking for the White Fangs This time you'd better spill your guts. I can read your minds and I know you're hiding something. I'm the one you should really fear."

"Yeah? What are you gonna-" I lift him up and slam the faunus into the wall with my telekinesis. Two more charge me but I blast them back with a rush of psychic energy. "I spent my whole life holding back and all that's happened is everyone I know gets hurt. You don't want to know what happens now to the people who get in my way!" One person goes to attack me from behind. I blast her into the ceiling then let her drop. I look down and see the white fang mask. I grab her by the head and start diving through her mind. I find the location of a local camp and rip the mask from her head. I release everyone from off the wall. "Spread the word. An angel has come for blood against the White Fang. The Angel of Death."
