Bloody Zero (REMAKE)

Chapter 01: Protect

Saya looked up at the ugly drunk man who had grabbed her arm. He hadn't shaved in a while it seemed and he had been drinking alot, he reeked of beer. He hair was messy and his close were shabby.

"Hey baby, wanna grab a bite to eat?" The man asked. Saya slapped his hand, not saying a word and walked off. The man continued to follow. "Hey you! Come over here!" The man yelled. Saya gave him a icey glare and with out warning stabbed him with her hidden blade. Blood was every where. He starred scared at Saya shocked and still processing what was happening. She slowly pulled the blade from his stomach as he fell to the ground. "Tsk. Such a waste..." Saya muttered as she walked away.

That cop is definetly near... crap... Saya thought gritting her teeth. Saya began running not paying attention to her surroundings and bumping into a taller boy. "Ugh...Ow?" The boy said turning to Saya. "Hmph... Your a killer... or a victim..." The boy observes. Saya glares at him. She then gets up and walks off. "Girl! Wait up!" The boy runs after Saya. Saya growls "Get away!" She said running. She ran into the nearest alley way, she needed to be away from sight being covered in blood. 

She hid behind a trash can. She began panting. When she looked over to see if the boy was gone, sure enough there he was. "What... do.... you... want?" Saya panted. "Your help." The boy said. "Help? Hmph, the help of a criminal? Want me to kill someone?" Saya asks. "No, actually, to protect someone..." The boy said. "...Protect..?" "Yes, my...friend...her name is Chihiro." The boy said. "Oh? I see, you love this girl?" Saya said trying to see if she could use this girl to manipulate him. "It doesn't matter... All that matters is that she is safe, and you as a trained killer who has never been caught would be perfect..." The boy mumbled. Saya felt as if he actually really cared for this girl, truly care for her. "Fine... Only because you caught me and I don't want to be turned in, anyway where is the girl?" Saya asked the boy. "That is also part of it, I don't know... but I do know..." The boy said. "What?" Saya looked confused at the boy. "Hangman will know... I will act different for a moment but... I'm going to need you to attack me." Saya starred at him "Alright. I don't see how this could possibly end wrong." Saya said half sarcastically. She grabbed the boy's back and shoved her fist into his stomach as he spit out blood. She let him go and he fell to the ground. He coughed for a while and got up slowly. "Hmph. So that made him bring me out it seems..." The boy talked to himself. "Well, he wanted to know where Chihiro is...." "Hey, Where is Chihiro?" Saya asked. "Huh? He must have hired you or something... She is in some place, hell if I know." Saya felt a sensation of anger and grabbed the boy by his shirt. "Look at me when I ask you this. Where. The. Hell. Is. The. Girl?" Saya said. Her eyes became red with rage. "Your eyes, Miss Zero." The boy said. "I don't care. Where is the girl?" The boy grinned. "I told her to stay in the tunnel at the park. She's fine." "Oh," Saya looked down as she let go of his shirt. "Is that so? Well lets go, I don't know what this girl looks like." Saya said. "I'm Hangman, Miss Zero, It seems I haven't introduced myself." The boy bowed. "Oh? I'm Bloody Zero.... That's all you need to know." Saya introduced herself. "Well, lets go." Hangman said walking off.

"Hold it!" said a cop. "Max?" Saya said. "Saya! Y-you!" "...I can't deal with you right now, maybe I will never so bye." Saya said running off with Hangman. "HEY WAIT!" The cop yelled. He actually didnt chase after them, he didn't even move. 

Hangman and Saya continued running til they knew he couldn't catch up. "Who was that?" Hangman asked. "Max. A stupid cop who's out to get me." Saya sighed. "He's nothing more then an annoyance but he wont do anything so lets just forget that interaction and move on." Hangman smirked. "Alright, how interesting..." They continued walking.

They walked to the tunnel to see a girl with hair the color of silver. The girl looked up at them not saying a word. "Chihiro, I'll let you speak to him, kay?" Hangman said barely before he fainted. Saya sighed. 

After a while Hangman got up. "Chihiro!" He yelled before getting up. "...Yes?" The girl who appears to be named Chihiro answered. "Oh?" Hangman's cheeks began to turn a bit pink. "Nothing." Saya starred at Hangman. He appears to have feelings for her, interesting. "Come, I do not know how I the cops have not come but they haven't. We should get going."

They began walking to Saya's "hide out" undetected because no one seemed to be out. It was very unusual. "Whats your name?" The girl finally spoke. "Oh? I am called Bloody Zero, that's all you need to know." Saya said. "Oh. Im Chihiro...So where are you taking us?" She asked. "To my place." "Why?" "Because, Its my job to help protect you." Chihiro took a minute to respond. "Protect..." They arrived at the "hide out" sooner then expected. When they opened the door they saw a boy. "Oh! Hello Saya~!" "What the hell?" Saya though out loud.
