Ding Dong Ditching

"So what should we do?" Austin asks. "Let's order some pizza," Zayn says. "Yeah cause I'm starving," Zac says then takes out his phone I'm guessing to dial the pizza place. As I was just sitting down looking at the tv watching a random show that is on, I feel something touching my lips. I look down and I see a banana, I turn around and see Camila holding the banana. "What are you doing?" I ask. "Trying to get you to eat some of this banana," she says. "Take a bite," she says while moving the banana towards my mouth. "I don't want to," I whine. "Pleeeaase," Camila whines back. I sigh and take a bite. "Yayy," she says. "Your weird, but I love you," I say after I swallowed the banana while shaking my head. "I know you do," she says then puts her arm around my shoulders.

After a couple of minutes we hear the doorbell, I'm guessing the pizzas here. Zac gets up from the floor and walks to the door. We all just go back to what we were doing.

"Pizzas here," Zac says. "PIZZA!!!" Camila yells while getting up and running to Zac and grabbing the box from his hands. She brings the box to the couch and puts it on top of the coffee table. We all grab a slice and start eating.

After we were done eating we didn't know what else to do. "We should go ding dong ditching," Zayn says. "That seems like something a thirteen year old would do," Dinah says. "It'll be fun, especially for Y/n," Zayn says. Dinah looked confused for a second but then it looked like she realized something. "Yeah we should go ding dong ditching," Camila says. They all get up and start to walk out the door. I don't know what's going on but I guess we're going ding dong ditching.

We've at least ding dong ditched at least four house already and right now we're running from the fifth house and let me tell you that man that lives in that house was not happy. We all stop running and try to catch our breath.

"Hey Y/n I dare you to ding dong ditch Lauren's house," Austin says. I look at him wide eyed and notice we're in front of her house. "No, I'm not going to do that," I say. "Come on don't be a pussy and just go ring her doorbell and run," Zac says. I think about for a minute. All I got to do is ring her doorbell and run. You can do this Y/n. "Fine," I say. "Yeahh," Austin says. I walk up to the door and get ready to ring the doorbell. I ring the doorbell and start running. When I was off their front yard I get pushed to the ground by Dinah. When I was getting up quick I hear the door open. I turn around and see Lauren. Shit.

"Y/n?" Lauren says. "H-hey Lauren," I say. "Were you the one who rang the doorbell?" she asks. "Y-yeah," I say. "Why are you over there?" she asks. "I didn't think you were going to answer the door," I lie. "Did you need anything?" she asks. "N-no, I um, just wanted to talk to you . Y-you know, we've never really talked since I a-always just hide in my room when y-your family come over," I say with a little stutter. Lauren just giggles. "You're cute when you stutter," I blush at what she says. "Do you want to come in?" Lauren asks. "Yeah," I say and walk up to the front door to walk inside feeling nervous.

Once I'm inside Lauren closes the door and leads me to the living room. We sit down on the couch and just sit there in silence for a little while. "So how come you never come out of your room when we come over?" she asks. "Um, because I get really shy," I answer her question . "There's nothing to be shy about. When your parents invite us over I always hope that you're not in your room because I want to hang out with you," she says. "Really?" I say surprised. "Yeah," she says. I hear footsteps coming down the stairs and into the living room. I turn around and see Lauren's mom. "Oh, well hi Y/n. Surprised to see you here the last time I saw you was the first time your parents invite us over for dinner," she says. "Yeah, I finally decided to come and be social," I say. "Well that's good. I'll be in the living room if you guys need me," she says. "Okay Mrs. Jauregui," I say. "Oh honey call me Clara," she says and walks out of the living room to the kitchen.

"So Y/n, you dating anyone?" Lauren asks. Why is she asking me that? "Um, no," I say. I see Lauren's smile get big for some reason. 

"You have a crush on anyone?" she asks me while getting closer to me, which starts getting me a little nervous. I could tell Lauren notices which causes her to smirk. "U-um, y-yes," I stutter. "And who would that be?" she asks while still smirking and getting a little bit more closer to me. I move back until I hit the arm of the couch Lauren moves closer. "U-um," that's all I can say. "I've heard that you have a crush on me," she says. I widen my eyes. How does she know that? "W-where did you hear that?" I ask her. "Your friend Normani told me. And guess what I like you too," she says. What! She likes me? "You do?" I ask. She nods her head. "And I would like to take you on a date tomorrow," Lauren says with a big smile on her face. "Really?" I ask with a little excitement. "Yes. I'll come pick you up at your house tomorrow at 7:00," she says. I giggle a little. "I could just walk to your house. We literally live across from each other," I say. "I'm not making you walk a couple feet," she says, I just laugh. "I have to get back home to my friends," I tell her. "Aww you can't stay a little bit more longer," she says while pouting. She looks so cute right now. "If I stay here longer I'm pretty sure I'm going to find my whole place trashed and all the food gone," I say. Lauren giggles.

We both get up and walk to the door. Lauren opens the door and I walk out and turn back to Lauren. "See you tomorrow," she says. Lauren leans in and kisses my cheek leaving her lips linger there, but way to close to my lips. I could feel my myself start to blush. "Bye Y/n," Lauren says when she leans back. "B-bye Lauren," I stutter. I turn around about to leave. "Oh and by the way, tell your friends I said thankyou about making you ding dong ditch my house." I turn back around to Lauren. How did she know that? She sees me looking at her confused. "I have ears Y/n. I heard your friends talking loud right in front of my house. And I saw you out the window," she says. I mentally slap myself. I got to teach them to not talk so loud. On the other hand I got a DATE with Lauren. Wow never knew I would say that. I'm actually going on a date with the person I've fallen for. "Oh, Sorry about that," I say. "Don't be, because I wouldn't have gotten a date with you if they didn't make you," she says while smiling big, which causes me to smile big also.

I laugh a little. "See you tomorrow at seven Laur," I say. "Bye Y/n/n," she says then walks back in her house then closes her door. I walk to my house with a big smile on my face. When I walk into my house I see my friends sitting on the couch staring at me. "So what happened? Did you kiss her!?" Dinah throwing questions at me. "No I did not kiss her," I say. "Well then what happened?" Camila asks. I just smile big. "She's smiling, something happened," Dinah says quick. "Nothing happened," I lie. "You're lying," Dinah says. " What happened?" Ally ask. "I have a date with Lauren," I say quietly. "What?" Normani asks. "I have a date with Lauren," I say in the same volume. "SPEAK WOMEN!" Dinah yells. "I HAVE A DATE WITH LAUREN!" I yell. They all just stare at me with a shock face for a second. "WOOO! MY BEST FRIEND HAS A DATE!" Dinah yells. They all just start asking me questions about how it happened. I answer some of them. I don't tell them about what Lauren did when I was about to leave. "I told you Lauren liked you," Normani says. 

"I knew my idea was a good idea," Zayn says. "Yeah but Lauren knew what we were doing," I say. "What!? How did she know?" Zayn asks. "Because you guys talk way to loud, she heard you guys from inside" I say. "Well you still got a date," Austin says and they all nod their head.

Even though I have crazy friends I'm glad they decided to ditch me when I rang Lauren's doorbell. If they wouldn't have done that I wouldn't have gotten the date I always wanted.
