Hanging Out

This story will be in your perspective and (y/n) will be when someone says your name. (Y/n) is your name. It's in first person and you are sixteen. Please give me some suggestions and let me know each time how you much you enjoyed. I know this has nothing to do with this story, but I'm currently writing a book and I need some opinions on if I should post it on Quotev to get people's opinions and suggestions on it. I even have some of the characters designed, so if you guys want me to start putting the book on here. I will add the characters. Thanks!!! "Ring, ring" I wake up with a start and look at my phone. A call from my friend Loki. "Why are you calling me at 8 in the morning on a Saturday." I say to him.

"There's a sale at the mall!!! Now get your butt up and let's go shopping!!" He yells.

"Okay okay... you and your needs."

"Hey this girl needs what this girl needs"

I chuckle at what he says and then tell him bye and I'll meet him there. I put on a red plaid button up shirt with a black tank top and ripped jeans. I decide to pull my hair up and head downstairs and eat a quick bowl of cereal. I grab a piece of paper and write a note telling my parents where I am even though I know they wouldn't care anyway. I get into my car and head to the mall. Once I see Loki's aquamarine Jeep Wrangler I park beside him and then step out of the car. 

"Finally... it's been like ever." Loki says and then we head inside.

"I don't know about you but I'm going to go get some more exercise outfits since they are on sale," I say and Loki quickly nods in agreement.

"You know me well," he says.

We quickly head to the Over Armor store. We both quickly grab everything that we see and begin to hold a mini fashion show as we try them on. Loki and I are the best of friends and the best part is that I will never have to worry about him starting to like me because, if you couldn't tell, he's gay and well I'm a girl. I never really cared it actually just adds to his personality and I'm not really looking for a guy anyway. Finally we finish and we both pick out with outfits we liked more and for Loki that was all of them. "Loki, let's go to Chik-Fry-A for some lunch since it's already 12." He nods and we decide to drive separately and meet there. On the way there I just drive and ignore everything around me. All I can think about is food so I decide to speed up and soon I arrive. We both order our food and then go sit at the farthest booth from everyone.

At first we just eat our food and then Loki breaks the silence.

"Thanks for going shopping with me."

"I'm your best friend I will do anything for you and with you."

We continue to eat and laugh at the other until we finish our food.

"What do you want to go do now," I ask.

"Hmm I think I want to... just hang out at my house."

"Ok, let's do it then," I say back enthusiastically.

We throw away our food and then head over to his house. I've been to his house so many times because my own is just boring and my parents are never there or care. Once I arrive, I get out of my car and head inside. I head straight to his room and jump on his bed. He then comes in with two drinks and sits down beside me handing me one.

"What are we watching today?" I ask.

"Our favorite." 

I know exactly what he is talking about and get ready to watch. He goes to Netflix and then clicks on the show.

" その日、人類は彼らの下で...弾圧の恐怖を思い出し、そして屈辱のは、鳥のようにケージされています" it reads. 

Then we both burst into song, "私たちは獲物ている、いや、我々はハンターです！"

("On that day, mankind remembered... The fear of oppression under them, and the humiliation of being caged like birds." "Are we the prey, no, we are the hunters!")

We love the show Attack on Titan and practically know the show by heart. We both are still eagerly waiting for season 3 to start. My personal favorite characters are Levi and Eren, and Loki's favorite are Reiner and Armin. We both agree that Oluo is our least favorite character. He has always tried to act just like Levi and it's a bit annoying, but he can be really funny. As we begin to watch at certain scenes we just begin to laugh and joke around. We both especially like to laugh at Hannes and the way he acts. We watch about three episodes of it before deciding to go do something else. 

I head into his living room and head to the cards that he has. I decide to grab the uno cards and head to the couch where Loki is. I shuffle the cards and then hand us both seven cards. As we play we don't really take it seriously. I laugh in my head because one more card and I win. I then place down the winning card and jump up with glee.

" 畜生！！！なぜあなたはいつも勝つのか？" Loki shouts.

("Damn it!!! Why do you always win?")

"Loki, you know I can't speak fluent Japanese. I only know a little bit."

"All the more fun." he laughs.

"Ever since you took that Japanese class, you use it to your advantage."

"That was the point, and because I find it interesting." He laughs again.

I grab the cards and then shuffle them back. We play more and more and I win almost the whole time. We finally decide to stop the game.

"Well it's 9:30 so what do you want to go eat?" he asks me.

"I'm in the mood for... food." I say jokingly. He pushes me down and we laugh for literally five minutes straight.

"I'm kidding. I'm more in the mood for some sushi, so yeah."

"(y/n) you're always in the mood for sushi, but okay."

We both get up and head to his car. Once we arrive we get our seat. 

"Welcome to All About You Sushi & Grill. What would both like to drink? Oh it's you guys!!! I'm guessing you want your usual to drink."

"おかげで田中さん。" he says to her.

"もちろん氏ロキ。私の好きなお客さまのためにいつでも。私はあなたが日本のことを学んだことがわかります。よかったね！ " she says in return

("Thanks Ms. Tanaka." "Of course Mr. Loki. Anytime for my favorite customers. I see that you learned Japanese. Good for you!")

Soon later our food comes out which leads me to assume that Ms. Tanaka actually remembers what we like drink and food wise. The food was exceptionally good, like always. 

"Do you want to stay over?" Loki asks me.

"Nah. I really need to get home. I only told my parents I would be gone for the morning and as you can see I've been here for a while, so they might be worried."

"Trust me, they don't miss you. They would have texted you if they did. You need to be honest with yourself."

"I know. I just want to give them a chance."

"Just be careful." 

I nod my head and Ms. Tanaka returns with the check. Loki quickly grabs it and puts some cash inside.

"Really. I can pay for it. It's my turn anyway." I tell him.

"No it's my treat."

I roll my eyes and then we head back to his house. I tell him bye and then head home. I sneak into my room and attempt to fall asleep. 

"I don't think we gave you permission to leave did we." my mom says as she walks in.

"I know I'm really sorry."

"Sorry might not cut it next time, but for now just get some sleep."

"Love you," I whisper.

"Yeah yeah," she says back.
