Creativity comes in all shapes and sizes. For Him it was a couple lines and a plain sheet of paper.
Him was drawn on February 8, 2010 by a girl who was practically Picasso. Him never really knew why he was drawn with only five lines, a circle, and a plain white sheet of paper. Him really never knew what to do so he just stared. He would stare at the beautifully crafted illustrations, he adored the way the brush strokes swam across the canvas in a sea of hues. Him loved staring at the paintings. He would stare for days on end, then he grew a hate for them. He despised the beautiful brush strokes. He despised staring at them because they never stared back. They never looked in awe at his five lines and circle. No one thought he was beautiful. So him stopped staring. He would go days without making a single sound, days of just being a lifeless stick man, until one day, the girl picked him up and started walking away from his spot on the desk that he had just began to get used to. Him thought that the girl was disappointed in him. He thought that she was finally going to throw him away. All of these thoughts rushed through Him's head, his mind became like an uncontrollable fire burning through everything in its path. Him thought this was the end, until the girl put Him in a strange glass box, to be more specific, a picture frame. Him was baffled by this. His burning, chaotic thoughts became joyful and happy. Him never thought he would be in a picture frame. After he was hung up on the wall, he noticed that there was a tiny gold plaque underneath the frame that read, "A reminder that the simplest of things can still be beautiful." Him felt honored by this, he felt like he was a beautiful painting with a sea of brush strokes passing through him and at that moment everyone was staring at Him.
