I woke up to the sound of a groan. "Jack stop." I muttered, not yet fully awake. "Shut up I'm trying to sleep." My eyes suddenly opened and I jolted up. "Oh my god! Jack what the hell?"

Across the room Jack gave me a nasty smirk. I shivered. "Turn off the porn dude it's gross." I told my brother. He snickered. "Oh I'm sorry I thought you liked it."

I rolled my eyes in the dark, even though I knew he couldn't see it. "I know dad doesn't care but seriously? Go get a life." I stood up and waddled towards the door. Jack shot up.

"Where're you going Al?" He followed me out the bedroom door. I stopped and faced him, placing my hands firmly on my hips. "To tell dad I want a room all to myself." He rolled his eyes.

"Well than why don't you just move out?" He asked chuckling to himself. "I can't afford college and my own house right now. Plus, we're twins dummy, why don't you move out?" I walked down the stairs, checking the time.

"Oh shit." I turned around and ran back to my room. Jack followed me. "What now?" He groaned. I threw on a grey sweater, some jeans and black vans. "Did you forget about you boyfriend again?" Jack made kissing noises.

"Yeah. I didn't mean too. He wanted me to come over because his parents are out of town and he wants me to help him watch his two little siblings." Jack just nodded. "I'll see you later." I yelled at him as I walked downstairs and grabbed my keys.

Just then my dad came out of his room, his light brown hair a crazy mess. "Good morning hun." Sometimes he was nice, sometimes he wasn't. "Good morning. I've got to go. Bye." Just as I was heading out the door he grabbed the back of my shirt and spun me around.

"Where'd you get that nasty bruise on the back of your neck?" He asked. I wanted to tell him but I couldn't. He had been drunk and shoved me into the counter, my neck making contact first. "I slipped. Bye dad." I tugged out of his grip and went to my car.

I quickly drove down the road to Jason's house. I knocked on the door and waited. "Hey Allyson come in." Jason opened the door and I stepped into the large house.

Two little toddler girls chased each other with stuffed animals. I sat down on the couch next to Jason. "You're late.. again." He said, staring straight into my hazel eyes. "I- yeah sorry about that. I got up late." He gave a slight nod.

"Thanks for coming anyways, you're the best." He put his arm around my neck and I flinched. He immediately moved it away. Before I could tell him no he was moving my brown hair over my shoulder and looking at the purple puffy bruise on my neck. "Why didn't you tell me?" He stood up in front of me.

"I didn't want you to feel bad or tell anyone." I muttered, not looking at him. He grabbed my chin and forced me to look up into his baby blue eyes. "I wouldn't tell anyone baby girl, you know that." I hated it when he called me that.

He pulled me up off the couch. There was then a knock on the door. "I'll get it you go find your sisters." I said heading towards the door.

I opened it up to find a pizza boy around 19, my age. "Oh hi. Um is Jason here?" He asked. He had blonde hair and icy blue eyes that made me die inside. "Yeah." I turned around. "Jason!" I yelled. He came down the stairs with his sisters at his side.

"Hey Christian. Thanks for the free pizza man." Jason took the pizza. "You're welcome. I'll see you later I guess. Bye." Jason waved and shut the door.

"Really? Pizza at eight in the morning?" He shrugged. "I'm hungry."

"And lazy." I added. "I'm not that lazy." He argued. I laughed. "Yeah right. Believe what you want. I'm gonna go play Barbies with your sisters now." I didn't want to. I just needed an excuse to get away from him.
