i want everything i love printed onto my skin, tattoos that tell my story at a glance. a sunflower simply because it's my favorite flower. my parents wedding date. a semicolon. my kids's names. a small heart on my wrist to match my cousin's because she was there for me when i was falling apart even though she was 236 miles away. a camera and a pen for my passions that led me through my hardest times. the name of my first book. "you will be found" from the song that got me through the darkest moments in my life, because i was found. my grandmas name because she told me she loved me unconditionally when i changed my name. it was the first time i cried from happiness. i want to have happiness inked into my skin.
