1. Magnetic force

The bell rings indicating is the next period. Zoe McClain grabbed her bag, and stood up to live the class. Mr Chuck, her biology teacher stared at her tensely, his hands over his chest.

"And where do you think you're going Ms McClain?" Mr Chuck asked, elevating his brows.

Her classmates all turn to face her. She awkwardly gawked towards Mr Chuck, ignoring her fellow mates stare.

"It's the next period, Mr Chuck. The bell just rang." Zoe replied, her brows knitted furiously.

"Yes the bell rang and that indicates you're here for a double period Ms McClain."

She rolled her eyes in exasperation as she violently sat back on her chair cursing. She badly wanted to get out of this class.

She heard a chuckle behind her; she turned to face the slut of the school, Emma Roberts.

"What's funny bitch?" Zoe asked Emma in anger.

"Your face." She replied, throwing her head as she laughed derisively.

"Ms McClain and Ms Roberts, do you both have something funny to share with the class?"

Zoe span to face at her biology teacher with furrowed brows. "No sir" she replied. She was moody today, and she felt like fighting with someone today. Wait she could probably disrupt the class, that's the only way to get out of this biology class.

"Hey bitch!" She faced Emma, her face contorted in anger. "What did you say you're laughing at?" She made sure she asked this loud.

Emma smirked at her. "Your face?"

Instead of Zoe getting angry, her lips curled up into a wide evil smile, putting Emma into a confused state. Before Mr Chuck said anything, Zoe violently thrust Emma's table, causing it to fly directly on Emma's painted face. With a loud thud; Emma fell to the ground, her head meeting the hard piled floor, the table on her thin body.

"Ms McClain!!"

After what had happen, Jeffrey McClain, Zoe's father was called to school. This wasn't the first time she has done this kind of act. She was a 16 year old girl with great physical strength. She had fought with boys and beat them all up.

"How many time should I come to your school for the same kind of act Zoe? How many time?!" Jeffrey yelled as soon as they had gotten in the car. "I am sick and tired of the school's calls, telling me the same thing over and over again. When will this stop?"

Zoe had her arms crossed over her chest angrily. "They can't stop stirring up my anger."

"How many time did I teach you how to control your anger? How many time?!"

"Dad, I told you that it is impossible for me to control my anger."

"Then it is impossible for me to take good care of you." He said, starting the car.

After a moment of five minutes drive and silent. Zoe asked, "so does it mean I am going to live with my mother?"

Jeffrey heaved a sigh, as he took the left road, joining the horde of cars. Traffic was displayed.

"No Zoe, you're with me and you'll always be with me. Okay?"

Zoe bit her lips nodding in approval. "Promise me that you will never leave me Dad. Promise me that you won't take me to mother."

"Never." He retorted smiling at her, and fixing his eyes on the road. All cars came to an halt, causing more traffic on the road. Some drivers started yelling at each other, honking of cars increased on the roads; noise erupted in the air as men and women yelled at one another to keep moving. But it all seemed like the roads were closed down.

"What's happening?" Zoe asked the father, as she stared out of the window.
"Why are people not moving?"

"I have no idea what's happening." Jeffrey answered in curiosity.

Some men have went out if their cars to see what's causing this chaotic traffic.

"Let me check what's happening." He unfastened his seatbelt. "Stay here." He opened the car door, and closed it after he went out. Zoe curiously stared at her father as he walked towards a man in a grey suit.

"if i may ask sir, what's going on here?"

"We have no idea." The man replied, "but I heard that there's something that fell from the sky on the next road. Whatever the thing is; it is blocking the road."

"How is that?" Jeffrey asked in bewilderment. "Did it cause any damage?"

"That I don't know."

Zoe impatiently waited, she wanted to know what the problem was. However, she hastily got out of the car and followed the father.

"Zoe... I told you to stay in the car." Jeffrey stated as soon as he spotted her out.

"Dad I am curious. I really want to know what's happening."

"Not now Zoe... Go back in--" before he could finish his sentence, the ground shuddered causing the cars and all men to slightly leap.
Gasps and screams were heard every way.

"What was that?" Zoe asked in a frightened voice. She had never been scared bit what just happened now, scare the crap out of her.

Then they all heard a noise like the sound of an aeroplane in the air, coming from afar. The blue sky transfigured to a grey dark sky. People came out of their cars to gaze up at the sky, and people who were in their houses, opened windows just to see the scene invading. They've never seen such in reality but only in movies.

All of a sudden a force came from the sky, upon seeing some cars and men been pulled up from the force, Jeffrey grabbed her daughter's hand and in a sudden they begin to sprint down the back roads.

Everybody began running for their lives, young men, old men, women with their kids, and young ladies. Some left behind their kids to save their own life. Every men for themselves.

"Dad, what's that?!" Zoe asked sprinting, not letting go.

"No time for questions."

Screams from women was heard all over the city, as more people, cars, buildings were pulled up by a tremendous force that no one could describe. It was like the sky became magnetic.

Zoe gazed up to take a glimpse of where everything is going too. She saw people, cars and houses been yanked up and disappear right in the sky.

She never in her life expected this to happen.
Like who would ever thought of this?

The more they ran, it was the more the magnetic force was getting closer and closer. Before they know it, Zoe felt her father's hand living her hand.

"No Dad!" She hold his hand tightly. "Don't leave me!"

Jeffrey had nothing to do... He knew by any chance the force was pulling him away from his daughter.

However, in no time the force pulled them up in a speed without knowing what's really happening. Everything was gone, they were all taken. There was nothing left and nobody knows what really happened. It all seemed like they were instantly dead when the magnetic force had pulled them.
