I fixed my tie for the tenth time, feeling my anxiety rise as I walk into the building. I was hired as a detective to help with deviant cases, and I'm assigned with an android and an older lieutenant. I walk up to the front desk, and notice an android working.

"Hello. What are you here for?" The android asked, in a well, robotic voice.

"I was told that I am going to be working with Lt. Anderson," I told the android.

"ID please," It said. I handed my ID over, and the android scanned it. "ID recognized. You may go into the office," It said, smiling at me. I nodded, and walked towards the office doors. Opening them, the first thing I noticed was a brown haired man harassing an android in a police uniform. I sighed, and walked over to the pair.

"Excuse me, but are you Connor?" I asked the android, completely ignoring the man in front of him. The android turned his head to look at me, when the other guy spoke up.

"Who the fuck are you?" He asked, clearly mad at me for interrupting him. I ignored him, probably making him angrier but oh well.

"Yes, I am Connor, the android sent by cyberlife," The android, ah, Connor said. "You must be Miss L/N," I nodded.

"No need for formalities Connor. Just call me Y/N," I said smiling up at him.

"If that is what you want Y/N," Connor said.

"Hey, fucking piece of plastic, I was talking to you," The brown haired man said. I turned to the man, and glared at him,

"I'm sorry but who the fuck are you?" I asked in a polite tone.

"My name is Gavin, fucking prick. Who the fuck do you think you are?" The Ass, I mean Gavin said.

"My name is Y/N L/N. I was sent here to work on the deviant case with Lt. Anderson and Connor here. I would appreciate if you would stop being a fucking asshole to my partner, so we can do what we are here to do," I said, crossing my arms across my chest. Gavin glared at me, and was about to say something, when I heard a voice from behind me.

"Connor what the hell is going on over here," The voice said. Not looking away from Gavin, as we are currently having a glaring contest, I heard Connor answer.

"Oh Lt. Anderson. Our new partner has arrived, and she does not seem to fond of Detective Reed," He said. I raised my eyebrows, and scoffed at the remark.

"I'm just appalled to see someone harassing an android, when it seems to be doing more work than the person harassing it. Please explain to me, Reed, why you feel that taking time away from your work to disturb others is a good idea?" I said, purposely saying his last name. He didn't say anything, glaring at me, before walking away. I sighed, and turned to face the Lt.

"I think you and I will get along just fine L/N," Lt. said.

"Please, call me Y/N. I don't like formalities," I said, nodding at him.

"Well then Y/N, call me Hank. It would save us both the extra effort," Hank said. I nodded at him, and we shook hands.

"Lieutenant, we have another homicide case," Connor said, causing me to jump slightly, because I forgot he was there. Hank looked at me and sighed, clearly not wanting to go.

"Alright Connor, let's go. Y/N you come with, it'll give you more of a rundown of what we do around here," Hank said. I nodded, and followed them out the door. When we pulled up to the crime scene, I realized that I recognized the house.

"Fuck," I muttered to myself, knowing already what happened. Connor looked at me, his LED flashing yellow.

"Are you alright Detective Y/N? Your heart rate has gone up slightly," He said. I nodded at him, and smiled, showing him that I am fine. He nodded, and started walking towards the house. I followed suite, and entered the house. The first thing that hit me was the smell. It was oddly sweet, considering someone was killed in here.
