when I dance with you

new day, new school, new dance.

thursday morning 

6:15 AM

nikis pov 

I got off my train stop with my bags and started walking into the office. it was my first day on the campus of my 6-month journey in Japan. I got a scholarship here and I couldn't say no. after I got my key to my dorm I walked over which wasn't too far however my classes were far from the dorm. i unlocked my dorm door an set my bags down looking around. "hello?...its too big to be a dorm by myself" i mumbled to myself and walked around and looked in a few of the rooms most had stuff in them but no one in them i walked into a room to be shocked seeing a boy. he had headphones in listening to music and he was dancing it was almost like my style but not really how id do the moves. when he noticed me he took his headphones off "uh..hello there" he seemed shy. "uh hello,im new just wondering where my room will be?" i said and rubbed my neck. his expression changed and he smiled "oh yours is down the hall next to the bathroom i bowed and took my stuff to my new room. i looked around and was shocked it was really big it had what looked like a full size be witch was way bigger than my old room back home.  after unpacking i walked out of my room and into the living room seeing five more peploe. "h-hello" i waved slighty "hi!!" a blonde girl stood up with a bright smile. there were two more girls and then three boys. 

after about an hour  I finally got to know everyone, the blonde girl is Jessie, she is the loudest here from what I'm told, then max she has big fluffy red hair and lots of freckles she is shy but outgoing, then Mason was the boy I met earlier, he is really shy, Jackson is tall and muscular with really pretty green eyes, then there is  Elijah. he is mute but is really good at dancing.

we all went to a cafe for lunch, they said it was good so I agreed to go with them. since I was vegan I order a said everyone else ordered something else. we all talked about our classes. however, I just stayed quiet. 

after we all ate Jackson and Jessie showed me around and where all my classes were at. I sure I'm gonna like it here. after they showed me around I went back to my dorm and ended up taking a little nap tried from traveling a lot the past few days 

when I woke up and checked my phone it was about 8:00 PM 

 herd loud music coming from outside as I stood up and looked outside my window I saw a large group of people in a circle I walked into the living room seeing  Elijah sitting there writing something down. I walked over looking at him 'what's going on"I asked him sitting down, he flipped his page overwriting something down 'hip hop and break dancing dance-fight' I sighed and looked out the window 

about 30 minutes later campus security arrived and sent everyone to there dorms the rest of everyone walked inside as I crossed my arms "you shouldn't sport dance fights" Jackson looked at me with a strange face "why not? its college have a little fun" he laughed "dancing should be brought together not be fought over which one is the best"I told them in my mom's voice Jackson rolled his eyes a Jessie looks at me "have a little fun mom" he joked going to her room

I shook my head and went to get something to eat out of the fridge, I got a snack max came and sat down "nervous or class?" she looked at me "no because I'm a good dancer therefor to be good you need to be strong and have an open mind having an open mind doesn't make you nervous because you never think about that kinda stuff" I said simply and ate my snack then going to my room 

in the morning I woke up early and took a shower and got ready I put my bag together and started to head to the kitchen and making a quick breakfast then went out the door going to class looking at everyone 

friday 8:00 am, campus

"Alright class stretch," the teacher said. I started to stretch and look at others there were a few boys mostly girls though after I was done we all started warm-ups with basic moves I look around as I see someone taking notes. after a bit were all called up to do a simple freestyle. as I start dancing I start on my toes doing simple spins then add moves after I was done everyone seemed like saw a ghost "you took a classic ballerina dance and added whatever you just did" the teacher spoke. 

he spoke with a girl taking notes as she nodded as I watched everyone else dance and before I knew it was 3:15 after class I went to get something to eat, I got a salad and ate it on my way home. once there I walked in seeing Jackson with a girl making out I almost barfed. "Jackson! take that to your room!" he jumped and looked at me "gesh sorry I didn't know you were gonna be back so early" he got up taking the girl to his room 

I sat down and turned on a movie and sighed. I went on my phone and started to text my friend Mabel

niki: hey miss ya, hows school and work?

mabel: sucks and got fired

niki: oh no! so sorry you know I'm there spritely 

mabel: thxs love ya but I gotta study

niki: k see ya later

Saturday morning 

I woke up guessing I fell asleep yesterday on the couch I sat up stretching to see Elijah typing on his computer  "morning" he looked up and waved "oh look whos awake"Jackson leaned on the counter with a smirk "going to the party tonight" he asked "what? party?!"
