As Ximena walked in the class she awkwardly sat down at a random table. It was her first day of 8th grade, she'd be going to high school next. She was excited, and she decided this year would be the year she's focus on her studies more and only school work. No boyfriend's until Middle school graduation. She glanced over the room. "No cute boys or nice-looking boys anyway" she'd think and she did the welcome letter her teacher assigned for them to write for upcoming 8th graders. Everything was normal, yet she didn't have any friends during the first days of school. She started off great. She realized a boy. He looked.. cute,, but she thought he could've just been one of those jerks. Anyway, studies, she thought. She started developing feelings more she got to know him, but she didn't know him well enough. She dropped the feelings. Hardly working on her studies, she achieved all A's. The boy, his name was Alexander. Alex, for short. He was an average height hispanic and slightly shorter than Ximena. He looked like he was growing a mustache. Ximena later got a friend named Nicole. Nicole and Ximena got tight throughout the year, they became the closest and bests friends. They never left each-other's side. Nicole whispered to Ximena, "Dude, I loooveee Alex. He's sooo hottt." "Haha, no he's not. He's ugllly!!" Ximena lied. Ximena knew sure as hell she was lying to herself. Yet, she didn't want to admit it. Alex wasn't necessarily the nice guy. He'd pick on everything about everyone. He was never satisfied. (Omg that sounds like a Hamilton pun... hah.. satisfied.. Alexander.. okay bye) Every stunning amazing girl was UGLY and STUPID to Alexander. He'd make fun of everyone... but never to Ximena. He'd say nothing, just let her go. Alex called Nicole names, though. Like ugly witch, and nasty perv, all those names. Near the middle/end of 8th grade, Nicole grabbed Ximena. "I think Alexander likes you.." "HAHAHA?! Really?! Cmon, he thinks everyone is ugly. There's NO Way he could like me.. plus I like-" Ximena stopped for a second. She didn't like anyone, but she had to think of a name. "I like James. Sooo, yeah.." she continued. "Good, cause Alexander's mineee yaa knowww??" Nicole said drooling. "Yeah, I know" Ximena laughed.
