He's Mine

Chapter 2

Skye's POV
Recap:

I put in my locker combination and put my stuff I did not need in there, along with some extra things. 

After I gathered all I needed, I grudgingly went towards the classrooms, trying to find my way. After a few minutes, I did end up finding my first class, and went inside.

 I hope the rest of my day goes well

Within the first few hours, I met a pretty great person, David, a fun and smart guy, and my best friend Gabriel. I ended up having most of my classes with Gabe. I only happened to get a couple of classes with David. You may be thinking, 'How many classes do you have with Ryder?' right? Well, we have no classes besides lunch and gym.

Speaking of lunch, I have that right now. Knowing Ry, he already made a few friends as well, and he's probably at a table already. I just hope there's more room for me and Gabe.

I started singing a random tune on the way to the café, which turned out to be a song by Blackbear, which was "Make Daddy Proud".

"What song are you humming babe?" Gabe ended up asking.

"Make Daddy Proud by Blackbear," I told him.

"Sing it!!" He pleaded.

"Why? You heard it before," I questioned.

"But I want to hear you sing it!"

"Fine!" I dragged on. After I cleared my throat, I started singing. "What is it with you? You never sleep alone girl, you won't listen to me. Won't listen to your home girls. You don't need a man, you say that shit but I see right through. Right through." I sang. After that part I stopped.

"Babe!" Gabriel whined. He punched my shoulder, which honestly didn't affect me.

"Ow." I played along. "And what? We're here!"

I opened the café doors and was automatically welcomed to the noisy chatters and crowded tables.

From what I can see from the corner of my eye, Gabe was slouching and whining. I ended up going back, and grabbing his elbow and pulling him, all the while trying to find Ryder.

The only way I found him was because he stood up and started like a crazy baboon, waving and calling my name, or rather his nickname for me. "Shay! Shay! Over here! Shayyy!"

I looked around and realized that everyone was either staring at me or Ryder. Pretty embarrassing, but it's also quite funny. But that's my brother for you.

"Did you have to act like a crazed baboon you dumbass?" I groaned, getting closer to the table.

"Yes, yes I did." He smiled. "Welcome to lunch Bebe!"

Someone who I wasn't paying attention to at the moment laughed. That got my attention, definitely. "Oh hi, I'm Skye, this dumbass' sister." I pointed to him.

"Alexi." The guy smiled.

I smiled a tight-lipped smile back, and told him, "Get me food. I'm hungry as fuck."
