*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Yasmin's P.O.V*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

The next day I woke up and smelled Chinese food. I took a shower and brushed my teeth then put on gray skinny jeans and a black evil dead t-shirt with red converse. I made my way down stairs and find Zoë, Miriam, and Johnny eating.

Zoë: "Sleeping beauty is finally awake!"

Yasmin: "Haha, very funny."

I took a seat next to Johnny as he handed me a carton of Chinese food.

Miriam: "so what happened last night?"

Zoë: "Yea Johnny tells us that you saw something."

Yasmin: "I saw a little boy in our front yard."

...

Zoë: "A little boy?"

Miriam: "Where did he go?"

Yasmin: "I don't know. He was sitting in the middle of the street, a car comes and runs over him but...there was no crash."

...

Zoë: "Probably your imagination."

Yasmin: "I know what I saw."

The morning went by slowly, we were all eating quietly and it was the most awkward moment ever. I felt annoyed at how no one believed me and just looked at me as if I were crazy. I never took a bite of my noodles, I place the carton down and stood up to get my coat.

Miriam: "Where are you going?"

Yasmin: "Out."

I head out the door and made my way to the nearest Park. As I started to walk, it starts to sprinkle. I sigh and head to the kid's play ground where I found a guy with black hair sitting on the swing set looking down. I sit on the swing next to him as the rain gets harder.

Yasmin: "Tough day?"

I ask him, he looks up at me with a surprised and confused look. He looks around then back at me.

guy:"A-are you talking to me?"

Yasmin: "Well yea. Who else would I be talking too?"

guy:"Are you dead or alive?"

What the heck is he talking about? This is why everyone should avoid drugs.

Yasmin: "Excuse me?"

He raised his eyebrow and keeps his focus on me as he waits for my answer.

Yasmin: "Um...Alive?"

He looked surprised, I felt someone stand in front of me, I look straight ahead and notice that it's the little boy I saw last night.

Yasmin: "Hey...you're the one who was in my front yard yesterday."

guy:" You can see him?"

Yasmin: "Of course I can! He's standing right in front of me!"

...

guy: "We're dead."

...these people are crazy...I look into the stranger's hazel eyes as I heard a familiar voice ahead. The guy never broke his attention from me and it was beginning to feel uncomfortable.

Zoë: "Yas?" she yelled while holding an umbrella. Her body was trembling from how cold it was.

Yasmin: "Yea?"

Zoë: "What are you doing?"

Yasmin: "I'm just talking with him, what does it look like i'm doing?"

Zoë: "Him?" she cocks her eye out in confusion as if she had no idea who I was talking too.

Yasmin: "He's sitting right here on the other swing."

guy: "I told you we're dead. She can't see us. And I have no idea how you can."

Zoë: "Well the rain is falling harder and it's cold as fuck...we were all worried at how upset you were before leaving...you should come back home and we'll work things out."

Yasmin: "No. I need to stay here for a bit. I need to be Alone."

Zoë: "Are you sure?"

I nod and she walks away as I starred into the stranger's hazel eyes again.

Yasmin: "How are you- dead and visible at the same time?"

guy: "I don't know, you tell me."

Yasmin:"How am I supposed to know? I'm barely finding out about this...what's your name?"

guy: "Gerard. Gerard way."

Yasmin: "I'm Yasmin Lee."

Gerard: "Nice to meet you Yasmin."

He says as he gives me a smile. I smile back and start swinging on the swing.

Yasmin: "So...how did you..?"

Gerard: "Die? Car accident."

Yasmin: "I see...any friends?"

Gerard: "No one except for Ismael."

Yasmin: "Ismael?"

Gerard:" Yea, the little boy you saw right now and last night apparently. I only have him."

Yasmin: "Well you just met a new friend right now."

Gerard:*chuckles* "I guess so, so what about you?"

Yasmin: "Well I have two best friends, Zoe and Miriam. Then I have my boyfriend Johnny."

Gerard: " Well they seem lucky to have you."

Yasmin: "thanks.."

he smiles and looks down as I do the same.
