Right after my psychology class I headed to the rooftop. This is the perfect place for having some time alone.

I sat on the bench.

Aoi... she always was a strong, powerful young woman.... and now I saw her crying. With cuts on her hands. She looked so poor, I even had an urge to hug her... but I know she doesn't like hugs.

-..Good morning, (Y/N)-san.

Oh. That sweet voice again.
I turned to the sound.

-Mornin'.

Of course it was Megami.

She sat on the bench near me and put her hand very close to mine.

-..You look upset. Is something the matter?

Wow.

-Yeah.
-And what is it?

Ooh. Stop, (Y/N), stop! Don't be mad at Megami! Maybe she didn't even see Aoi crying today!
I should tell her about it anyway. Maybe if they actually were friends, she could understand.

-You know... I saw... Aoi today.

Megami gasped a little.

Oh yeah. That means she didn't see her then.

-Aoi, you say? And what did she do?
-She was crying on the floor in the empty classroom.

Megami gasped even louder.

-Crying, you say..?
-Yeah.. with cuts on her hands.

I noticed tears in her eyes.

-My God, that's... horrible.

One tear, like a melted snowflake, rolled down her cheek.

-I came to calm her, she told me it was about the student council thing..

Another tear. She probably wasn't even listening to me.

I shouldn't have said all that. It made her cry.

There is only one way to stop her.

I tenderly hugged Megami.

-(Y/N)... What are you..?
-Shh, it's okay. Let it out.

She snuggled into me and sighed.

-I can understand you. Some accidents can make everything be upside down.
-It's not that...

Megami took my hand.

-Kuroko told me, that... some people came to her, and... said, that... Aoi was quite rude to them...

Hmm.

Yeah, that's right. Aoi is rude to every single person in this school except teachers. I even saw that she pushed away some guy from the occult club. But isn't that a point of being an enforcer? Like a... um.... warrior..? So you're just rude to everyone and secretly protecting the school?

-Do you agree with that statement?

-Yes or no?

I didn't want to answer because I think that my words can make Megami upset. But I had to answer.
