The Three Kingdoms

Chapter One

-Mainly just a beginning filler chapter of what happened and what's going on. All other chapters will be much much longer-

"Let me help you," I offered Mrs. Raine, the elder of the village.
"Oh thank you Nyx," she beamed, happily walking into her small house. "Did you hear? They're having a meeting of the three kingdoms to talk about coming together," I explained as she looked at me in distaste.
"That's a terrible idea. That'll never work. The Kane family wants all the power. Ridiculous," She scoffed.
"This isn't going to end well, is it?" I asked worried. Life was nice in our small village outside the second kingdom ruled by the Devin family. The first kingdom is ruled by the Hinde family and the third by the Kane's. The Kanes' are an evil family, fulled by their love for power and hatred for humans. The other kingdoms were kind to us and let us live peacefully among them. But the Kanes' they use humans as pets, slaves, blood bags; you name it. They have a burning hatred for us because way back when we used to kill vampires. That was many many years ago before they took over our world. Most live in fear of being found or captured. They hunt us like animals and treat us even worse. The three kingdoms used to be joined as one ruling empire until the Kane family decided they deserve more and better and turned on the humans, tearing apart everything that had been worked so hard for. It was the beginning of a new and darker era. It was the beginning of the three kingdoms.
