Chapter 1
Beep Beep Beep. I reached out to hit the snooze button on my alarm clock when something wet and slimy started to run down my hand. Ahh! I screamed as I jumped up from my bed only to hit my head on my ceiling. "Damn that hurt," I whispered to myself as I turned around to face the intruder in my room. Something with fur as black as the sky at night type lingered across my room. "Knightly is that you?" I said into the darkness. Before I knew it the thing jumped at me and landed on me with a thud as my back hit the back board of my bed. "Ouch!" I shouted from the pain going through my spine. When I opened my eyes a pair of familiar emerald green eyes were staring back at me. "Hey Knightly, I had a feeling it was you," I said to my black panther. Yea I know; what she has a panther!?...well yea it's weird and unusual but hey if no one knows about him then it's all good. I was pulled away from my thoughts when I felt that familiar slimy wet feeling on my face that I've grown used to.
