Chapter 17

Aj's POV

  I waited backstage for my music to hit. Daniel and Punk's music had both played and Punk was making his way to the ring. Everyone looked at me with a weird look considering I was shaking.

  What was I supposed to do? & What would Daniel do if I didn't do as he said?

  I was broken out of my thoughts by an annoying voice. Eva Marie.

  "Don't play favorites sweetie." She laughed and evil laugh and blew me a kiss goodbye.

  I was about to run after her until my music started to play. I took a deep breathe and began to skip out to the ring.

  The match went on for what felt for a while and at this point I was being equal. Right now Daniel was in control of the match. He began to grab for a chair and I began to panic. I did the first thing I could think of doing. I put my foot down on the chair so he couldn't lift it.

  He looked up at me with pure hate in his eyes. This gave Punk time to grab a kendo stick and I smirked. Punk began to hit Daniel with the kendo stick endless times. Punk was now in control of the match while Daniel was on the ground trying to quickly recover.

  Punk began to put a chair in between the ropes on the turn buckle and Daniel began to get up and gave me a dirty looked. As Punk got ready to throw him into the barricade I stood in front of the steel chair and Punk gave me a sincere look of hurt. I bursted out into an evil laugh even though I was close to tears. I had to keep telling myself that it was part of the act. I just wish I could tell him that..

  By the end of the match there was a table in the ring and the were both up on the ropes. They kept reversing who would fall onto the table and my heart was about to pound out of my chest. Before I even realised it Punk had brought Daniel down onto the table and was pinning him. I got down quickly and began to pound on the mat.

  "1..2..3!!! Ding ding ding!!!"

   "ANNND STILL WWE CHAMPION C...M.. PUNK!!!!" The crowd roared in cheers.

  I began to hand him the title and he just grabbed it out of my hand without making eye contact with me. I felt like I'd been stabbed in the heart.

  I need to talk to him. Now.
