"I was walking through my forest, I love every brilliant tree in it. In my forest, I felt all kinds of magic, but that was truly my mine making boring stuff 'fun', I've always loved my forest. The way the river flows through my village, little hobbit huts made of wood and dirt for all my friends. The tall trees, and the beautiful sunlight, that shines off my river making it sparkle, like a diamond. The stones making a small bridge to cross. My path with little blue and purple flowers that has always taken me safely home."

I finished writing that in my book I picked up from a new part of the forest I have never been to before. That is one of my favourite memories, from when I was 8. I started doing this every day. I even started making stuff up.

As I kept doing this, things around me changed. I couldn't quite work it out until I wrote: "The leaves on the trees in my forest are pink...". The next day, I walked into my forest, as normal, and the trees were actually a pinkie colour. I ran home. Ran to my room, without saying a word.

My mind sprinted out and I couldn't think. I laid on my bed, and I tried to think of anything that could have happened.

Mum knocked on my door and walked in.

"What's wrong, honey? I can hear you banging." She asked.

"Just, in the forest, the trees were pink," I said worriedly.

She looked confused at me. "What do you mean? They've always been pink."

After mum left the room, my mind ran wild. I went to get my book, opened to the next page. I looked at my words and started to think that it could be the book. I crossed those words out. Then I did a little test, by saying 'Trey will give me flowers on...' I looked at the date, '...9th of September 2017.'

The next day, at about 3 pm Trey knocked on my room, with his cute smile and amazing brown hair. He gave me flowers he picked from the garden. I smiled at him. Man, that made me like him even more. But it proved it is the book.

"So, if I write anything it will become true?" I asked aloud.

I ran up with my flowers, put them in a cup as a reminder that I can do anything. Although the pink trees were gone, meaning if I cross it out it becomes untrue again.

With this new information in hand, I used it wisely, almost. I crossed out everything in the book. I started to write my world on different paper to see if I could put in a story and live in it for a bit.

On the paper I wrote:

The wind blows slowly through the air, the leaves turning from green to orange, yellow and all kinds of red. Clear rivers around the streets, people rode on boats instead of cars. people could swim in this untouched pure water. This water was different to most, as it couldn't be changed from pure water. Doesn't matter what was put in somehow it stayed beautiful.

I didn't think to write anything else, but I tested the paper by putting it into my book. All I would have to do is wait till the next day.

That night I couldn't sleep, but as the clock hit 12 the world began to turn and spin. It stopped spinning when the clock passed 12. I wanted to run outside and look around. But I would never be allowed to do that, so instead, I looked out my window and watched the leaves fall onto the water. I could look at it for the rest of the day. My heart raced so fast it almost jumped out of my chest, I had fallen in love with my book. All the amazing things I could do.

If I wanted I could become rich and famous at the touch of my pen. I could make every boy feel lust for me, but I wouldn't want that, I like my alone time. So, everyone should.

I felt power holding my book like I could control the world. Wait I can. Building a castle for myself in the middle of the town, done. Wanting money to last a lifetime, done. Live forever, done. My book, my power. What's even better is no one can stop me.

Over time I learnt that big changes to the world happen at midnight. Small changes to one person can be changed within 5 minutes. I also wrote more and more worlds on different paper and stored them safely in a safe I wrote for myself.

With all this happiness I bought myself I never knew I would destroy the world.
