I sat silent in the lecture hall. Barely paying attention as I stared at the blank notebook in front of me. 'No notes in the past few hours. Well done, Mabel." I said to myself. At that time, the bell rang signaling the end of the never-ending lecture. It was finally time for lunch break. Cover as a student clearly wasn't easy for me. The stupid and endless tests were frying my brain. Oh and did I mention the goody-too-shoes 'Ms Popular' who always thought I was just someone very easy to pick on and always had almost the whole school drooling over her.

"Hey loser!" I mentally rolled my eyes. 'Speak of the devil, am I right?' I turned around to face a cocky caked face. 'If I wasn't undercover, I would have ripped off that smug smile off your pretty face, if that was even called pretty. I mean she clearly had like what-at least a hundred of different types of makeup on her face. I pushed up my fake glasses and looked down, acting like a nerd, which was nothing like me. "Awww... did something bad happen to you?" She spoke with sarcasm dripping from each word that she spoke. I mentally rolled my eyes once again. "Well that's too bad." She said as she hit the books out of my hand. She and her friends began cackling as they left me there with my books all over the place. I bent down to pick them up and started heading to my next lesson.

"When will the damn enemy come in to the school. I swear if I—" A loud crash reverberated through the hallway. "Finally!" I screamed in my head. A smirk appeared on my face as students ran in the opposite direction of me. As they passed me, some looked at me as if I was crazy, others shouted to go the other way but I paid no attention to them. My eyes were on the prize-Ash. She was said to be one of the ruthless killers out there. Me on the other hand is one of the top assassins in the world. My organization-StarStruck, SS for short, had sent me here as Ash wants to kill the principal, Ms Courtney of this school. Ms Courtney was one of the remaining few seniors of SS in hiding. The seniors were very important to the organization. Each of the members had a type of code that has the secrets of StarStruck and how to bring all of us down. With that thought moving to the back of my mind, I rushed forward, taking off my jacket and throwing it to the side. Underneath it was a black short sleeved top to pair with my black jeans I had worn to school already. The tee showcased my small but noticeable tattoo which was the label of StarStruck. The tattoo was blue and black with intricate designs. Seeing it gave me a sense of pride.

I continued forward as I reached under my shirt to take out the kniwhich extended in my hand to become katanas. I chuckled in a deeper tone upon seeing the silver and shiny blades. Behind me, I heard gasps. "What the hell is she doing?" "Isn't she that victim of 'Ms Popular?'" "Never underestimate the people around you." I turned back and said before running towards the front of the school, into the frontyard where Ash most probably was. I could feel my fellow peers' mouths hang open and I laughed. 'Their reactions are so priceless.' I shook my head and the thought.

In no time, I was at the front of the building. My eyes fixated on the red-haired girl, presumably around the age of seveteen. She was holding a student captive. Anyone could tell she was the one and only 'Ms Popular'. She was wearing such a short skirt that was always hiked up when the teachers weren't looking. 'Really? I need to save this kid?' I mentally rolled my eyes for the third time that day at the same person. She was screaming help as she struggled to break free from the thich metal chains that chained her to one of the metal lamposts.

"Hey Ash~" I waved my hand in the air as I smirked, my eyes turning a dark shade of grey. She turned around towards me, stopping the motion of flipping a sharp hand held knife in her hands. As it made one more rotation in the air, she grabbed the end of the knife tightly before strutting towards me. "Hi Mabel. I know you are tired from studying all day." She said, dragging the 'all'. "How about a fair exchange? You bring me to your principal and I'll let that poor friend o yours go." I side-eyed the frantic 'Ms Popular' crying her eyes out while desperately shaking her head. I scoffed. "Why would I agree to your stupid exchange?" I spat. She chuckled deeply. "If you say so~" She cooed, smirking triumpantly as she turned around again to head towards the chained girl.

I laughed in an evil tone. "What?!!" She looked back at me and glared. I did not faze. It was just an appearance. "I can't believe you don't want to fight. Wasn't it always your way of showing you were the best in your little clan?" I saw her eye twitched as she changed the direction of her movement. Now, she was heading straight towards me. Knife in her left hand. 'Leftie?' I looked back at her face. Something was off, but I couldn't figure it out. The report clearly said she was right-handed. I shook my head dismissing the thought as I stepped to the right, dodging a swing of a blade that would have sliced my neck off. "You don't know anything about what your dumb organization did to my clan!"She screamed in fury as she jabbed the air here and there, in an attempt to pierce me.

I focused on the pattern of the blade as I dodged the everlasting jabs. A sinister smile grew on my face as I registered the obvious pattern. With a quick kick, she flew across the frontyard. "What on earth is happening here?" A lady walked out of the school. My eyes flickered towards her. I was shocked but I remained my composure on the outside. 'Crap. Why the heck is Ms Courtney here?' I thought as I turned my head towards Ash who was slowly standing up. "Ms Courtney! Go back into the building and hide. She's coming for you." I spoke in a hurry. She scanned my forearm. When she saw the tattoo, she immediately gave a small smile and nodded before rushing back into the crowded building.

I looked back to Ash, forming a fighting stance, katanas slung to my back. "To get to her, you need to get pass me first." I said in a slow but determined tone. "Piece of cake." She said before letting out a battlecry and running towards me in full speed. When she was almost an inch away from me, I stuck out my leg and let her fall to the hard ground. A sickening crunch was heard but that didn't stop one of the ruthless killers. Immediately, she pulled me down with her, swiftly putting herself on top of me. As she struck downwards with the knife, I pulled out my katanas and blocked her from reaching me. With a push she lost her balance and fell backwards with me on top of her now. "You people never learn when to stop do you?" I smirked as I put one of the long blades through her shoulder. 'Not enough to kill her but enough for her to pass out'. I slowly stood up, watching her screan in agony as she desperately tried to pull the katana that was sinking into her flesh by the second out. Blood seeped through her purple clothes, forming a patch of a crimson colour all over her shirt. I tilted my head as I saw her pass out.

Pulling put the red blade and putting both my katanas on my back, I put my earpiece on. "Great job, Infinite. Ms Courtney has left the building a while ago to find a new place and we'll come over to collect Ash. " My group supervisor spoke. I sighed. 'Where is my code? I was breifed about the different classes of specialities but never my own. All of my group mates have at least someone from Team Omega who share the same class. Where is all the other Infinites?' I thoughts as I walked to the beaming 'Ms Popular' who looked at me with ultimate happiness. With no expression on my face, I easily unlocked the chains tying her to the lampost with a hairpin I had in my hair. "Go back to school." I spoke in a monotone voice as I coldly stared at her. Feeling intimidated, she shivered as she walked back into the school where almost everyone cheered for her.

I brushed that off easily. Afterall, I wasn't gonna attend that school anymore after today since this mission was over. However, instead of smiling, I remained grim as I walked out of the vicinity. A thought replaying in my head. 'Why was I so different when everyone else could relate to each other? Why was I the odd one out?'
