Ah, high school...the time to be an asshole and get away with it, for girls to make sexual mistakes, and for people to question their existance.

It's around the junior and senior year for most we know, including these two. Two feminine male seniors. One, Keith, a full blown American boy who can steal any guy's heart. But his had already been stolen.

Curtesy of Jaeyoung. A transfer student from Busan. He came over sophmore year, his english mediocre. Jae made good improvement since those years, and gained Keith's heart as well.

And god, they were all over each other...Going on dates, having sleep overs, helping each other study...

Jae clinged to him like a little leech. But a cute leech! They spent lunch together. Same table, same seats. Every day. And Keith would always get Jae something special every day!Cheetos, cookies, Rice Krispies...And sometimes even homemade sweets! They were perfect together..Key word; were.

Along came another guy, from the Netherlands. Kennet.
But he comes along later. Let's back track a week before their departure..

Monday, Jae and Keith were together in the hallway as always.
"I don't know why you care so much!" Jae snapped, angrily applying so much hightlight Stevie Wonder could see it."It's only one guy.."
"Still...I just get paranoid whenever I date someone because they always hang out with others, and BAM, cheated on for weeks..."
Jae turned to Keith, an offended expression on his face. "Keith! I'd never cheat on you, you know that!"
"I know, I know...it's just part of my nature now, I'm sorry Jae..." He smiled and held Jae close, kissing his cheek.

"..We should just get to lessons, okay?"
"Yeah..." Jae walked off without saying a word. He was so angry recently..no use in walking away, Keith followed right behind.

They eventually went to their seperate lessons. Jae couldn't stop thinking about how awful Keith was to think he was some kind of cheater....but you really can't blame him for what all people have done to him.

Lunch time made it's way around, and for the first time in months..Jae didn't sit with Keith. He sat with his friends, on a seperate table in the corner.

Keith started walking over, but...Jae gave him a death glare. A sign to stay away. Suddenly, a notification buzzed from Keith's phone.

But, even once Keith was home, he didn't say anything. Jae was seriously mad at him. Keith decided to text him, just to be safe.

Tuesday, Jae's was different. Less talkative.
"Keith, I need advice."
"?"
"I..I have a friend. And I don't know how to tell her that I just can't keep hanging out with her."
Fuck he knew what this was. But...well, what can he expect?? He said what he said...
"...you probably just have to let her down easy, tell her why you can't hang on." He sighed, looking away a little. "And maybe work something out..."

"Oh..I'll tell her next Monday." Jae smiled. "I'll have a speech planned out by then."

Monday, again. Many, many, anxious yet silent days passed. Jae carried on sitting with his friends. It was only at nighttime when it finally happened.
Keith was ready for it all this time, expecting this.

Jae approached him, looking..sad. "Keith.." Jaeyoung took a deep inhale, preparing himself mentally. "I-I..I can't go on. I can't keep us being a thing."
"I...kinda saw this coming...you've been mad for a long time."
"W-Well.." Jae felt disappointed. It might be sadistic but he wanted Keith to have a bit more of a reaction. "I'm sorry."
"It's okay, Jae." Keith smiled, full of pain.
"Please delete my number..goodbye." Jae kissed Keith on the cheek one last time before walking away.

And that was the end of Jae and Keith.
