In Love With Mercury

~Chapter Three~

~Journey's POV~

I awoke again and read the clock, 1 O'CLOCK?! OH NO I'M GONNA BE SO LATE!!! I scrambled out of bed, knocking Champ onto the floor, he didn't do anything... I threw on my other Queen t-shirt and my white jeans and black tennis shoes, grabbed my purse and keys and ran outside. Making sure I had my ticket, and I did, I started up my car and headed out.

"Dammit I'm gonna be so late!!!" I cursed.

~4 hours later~

When I arrived at Madison Square Garden everyone was still outside, why was that? The concert should have started an hour ago... Then I read the signs. The Queen concert is currently under a rain delay, concert will now begin at 6pm. Oh, well, at least I only have to wait an hour... I didn't miss anything! Yay!

When I finally found a parking place I got in the line, which was of course VERY long. But then I heard security guards shouting something about people with front row tickets. And I had front row tickets. A ticket for the first row actually. Right in front of where Freddie Mercury stands and sings and dances.....

"All people with front row tickets may head inside at this time!" I heard one say.

My excitement went to an all time high level. I told the closest security guard and showed my ticket to prove him, and then he led me into the arena. I was amazed. In seconds I was already in my place. And I was so close to the stage I could rest my arms on it. And I did and also set my head on my arms. The security guards did not even care. Of course there were already like 75 people around me...

Next thing I knew I saw him... Freddie... The love of my life.... Checking the stage... And then he made eye contact with me!! Eeee!!!! Then the rest of the crowd saw him and cheered.

"Hellllllooooo New York Cityyyyy!!!!!!" he yelled, because he didn't have a microphone.

"FREDDIE FREDDIE FREDDIE FREDDIE FREDDIE!" I and the 75 other people chanted.

Freddie bowed and came up to where I was and sat down and crossed his legs. He was just... Perfect!!! Of course, I still had my arms rested on the stage and my head resting on them, but Freddie was THIS close to me and it was just amazing...

"And what a fine darling you are," I heard him say as he looked at me.

I blushed like crazy, did he say I was FINE?! And called me DARLING?! Eeeekkk!!! Man I can't wait to find out how my night will end....
