Blue Eyes

It's two in the morning and I'm laying in my bed thinking of those blue eyes. How can I remember them when it has been a whole summer since I've seen him. It all started last summer when I saw those ocean blue eyes, those damn ocean blue eyes. I was on my way to the beach with my sister Isabell, many people call her Izzy for short. As for me I'm Kate, the shy and quiet girl that everyone knows me as. It was 110 degrees out that summer when I first met Theo and his amazing blue eyes. The day I met Theo was the day my whole life changed completely, Izzy and I were throwing a frisbee out on the beach when the frisbee accidentally hit Theo in the head while he was reading. I still remember what he was reading, he was reading "All The Bright Places", my all time favorite book. When I first saw his ocean blue eyes I instantly fell for him, his blue eyes and ripped body. My mind was blown by the way he smiled at me when I went to get the frisbee back from him. That whole day I couldn't stop thinking of him, at dinner, before I went to sleep. The next morning that summer I woke up and still had Theo on my mind, It was like I've known him my whole life and that I have been in love with him forever. We met again that day at the state fair, where everyone goes to over the summer. There were rides, horses, and many different types of food. Grace, my best friend since the first grade was with me that night at the fair, we were going on the ferris wheel when all of a sudden Theo's blue eyes caught my attention. He was standing alone in line behind Grace and I to get on the ferris wheel.

"Hey frisbee girl, what brings you here today." My heart was pounding and beating as fast as it could as I heard his deep voice talking to me. I turned back around and saw his smile, the smile that can light up a whole room. "Can't a girl enjoy her summer?" as I said back to him. Grace looked so confused and surprised because she has never seen me talk to a guy before. A guy who is way out of my league and a guy who every high school girl wants as their boyfriends. Theo starts laughing after what I said to him, he continues to stare at me in line while we waited for our turn on the ferris wheel. He didn't stop smiling until Grace asked if he wanted to ride with us. Theo politely said yes and came on the ferris wheel with Grace and I. It was quiet the whole ride until we got off. "Thank you for letting me ride with you guys" goes Theo. Grace is the type of girl that won't get embarrassed about anything. "YOU ARE SO WELCOME THEO!" Everyone could hear her shouting because she was so loud.

One more hour till the fair was closing, I kept thinking about where Theo went and where he could've been at. As I was walking towards my car, I saw Theo standing next time my car, tall, brown haired boy with the cutest smile and cutest blue eyes ever.
"Hey frisbee, I was wondering if you would like to get coffee with me sometimes"

My heart was racing like those race cars but even faster. I was sweating, I knew my face was turning red. I didn't know what to say back to this gorgeous boy that is way too out of my league. I stood there while Theo was just looking at me to get a yes or no back from me.

"I-I-I-I would love to get coffee with you" as I gave him my number. What was wrong with me? Why was I so nervous to say yes? Why was this so hard for me?
