I Guess I'm Doing It Alone

Start from the beginning

"Good. I don't want to see anymore slip ups." Jake said. I put my hands on my hips and I looked at the pacing Jake up front. "When we are in Charlotte we need to have no connection to any of the competitors. No matter what."

I guess these were for me to hear. "Especially, you Wesley and Wiley. We are not having a repeat of last year what so ever." He demanded. What happened last year then? I watched as Jake went through all the rules and the curfew. The curfew was eleven. That was a quite bit late for me but I guess the guys won't let me stay in my room all night.

"Oh, for you this person that you need to stay away from is Ian."

"Ian? How am I supposed to know what Ian you aer talking about?"

"Just stay away from any Ian that asks you to dance. If you dance, maybe. No you will. Just stay away from any Ian period. No matter how innocent he looks." Jake said. I threw a thumbs up in understanding.

"So, I guess with that you all can go home. I will see you tomorrow." Jake said running a hand through his hair. I walked a steady rate to the girls locker room and my muscles were aching. I tried pushing my hair into a ponytail but it just wasn't working.

I hurried and grabbed a bottle of water and started chugging it down to make myself feel better. It was working slowly. I gave up and I changed and grabbed my bags and headed to the parking lot. I wasn't really trying to stop anywhere else but my bed when I get home. A little too much than I can handle have happened this week.

I heard my phone ring and I searched through my bag looking for my phone. This Ellie Goulding song was really starting to get embarrassing. "Hello?"

"I'm so sorry for blowing up on you in the parking lot. I didn't mean what I said though. I was being a real bitch and that wasn't cool." I heard Chris apologizing on the phone as I got into my own car.

"I'm over it Chris." I deadpanned.

"Really? So we are friends again?" She piped a little too happy and eager for my liking.

"No. Not exactly."

"Why not?"

"What you said wasn't what had me."

"What's that supposed to mean?" She asked.

"I saw you run into Harry's arms after you ditched me and made me feel like the bad person. How could you do this to me? You know that I hate him." I said slipping my seat belt on in a furious rage. She was silent for a minute as I noticed the entire dance team walking by my car. Only one person noticed me and knocked on the window.

I rolled down the window and Lee was looking at me. "Do you want to grab some pizza with us? I'm paying." He said with a smile. I ended the call with Chris. Do I even want pizza?

"Yeah, sure. I will just follow you." I said starting my car.

"Cool. Just follow Wesley's Jeep. He's always the last one to leave when we get food. Nice car by the way." He said and with that he left. I sighed a little and tossed my phone on the dashboard and I looked behind me and saw Wesley's car pulling out the parking lot following a few others.

I sat in a booth in the corner in the middle of all the guys stuffing their face with pizza that had the oddest toppings I have ever seen. Wiley was the only one not here. "So, Ophelia are you ready for intense partying next week?" Lee asked picking up another piece of pizza.

"Uh, I don't know. I never been 'partying' before." I said pulling the cheese off my pizza and I heard loud gasps and sarcastic choking noises and everyone at the table looked at me like I came from Mars.

"You have to be lying to me. Not even in London?" Asked Stacey. "You are lying. Please say you are lying." I shook my head no.

"We need to show you how Americans do it." Jake commented with a mouthful of pizza as I took a bite of my own cheese.

"So, how do Americans do it? So, I can prepare myself." I said rolling my eyes.

"Well, usually you are in a hot sweaty room with a bunch of strangers that are dancing and partying to random music. Pretty intense." Jake commented. That sounded like jolly good fun, not.

"Usually, there are some pretty good looking girls in clubs too." I looked up at Lee. He cleared his throat awkwardly. "There's dudes there too. But, not as sexy as me." He said flexing causing me to laugh.

"Wow. Okay." I said stopping myself from laughing. Everyone started laughing except for Lee. "I was joking Lee. Don't take it so serious." I said putting another piece of cheese in my mouth.

"Oh yeah. Remember when Coach said you were getting your own room at the hotel and everything?" Stacey said finishing another piece of pizza. I nodded slowly. What was this leading to? This is not what I think it is.

"We are sleeping over." Wesley said biting into a piece of pizza. Everyone at the table nodded and agreed. "Every night."

"Why?"

"So, we can mess with you." Fred said cracking a smile.

"I can't have any privacy?" I whined.

"Only, when you are in the bathroom and watching chick flicks. Anything else, no." Jake said. No privacy. This means that I have to see their face every single second that we are there. As much as I like them all. I like quiet.

"But, what if I don't let you in?"

"We'll find a way. I promise." I laughed.

"Good luck."
