Hello everyone just a quick introduction to the characters.
Before I begin I don't own all the characters the only one I own is Emily all the others belong to there right fill owners.
This story is based around a girl called Emily, Emily where's blue jeans a white short sleeved shirt grey shoes with wight crosses on the outer side she black hair and a Hazel eyes. Ok now to the story.

Chapter one
An old friend

Emily's P.O.V
"Hey Ross" I said in my normal cheerful voice
"Oh hi Em..."He said in a said way I could tell he wasn't happy "so your really moving to Florida..." he said even sadder
"Hah... I guess I am..." well done you just had to go and make it more awkward didn't you I thought to my self
"So I guess this is good by but before you go I wanted to give you this" he pulled out a golden hart shaped locket.
"T-Thank you" I said slightly stuttering. Ross put the locket around my neck
"I wanted you to have something to remember me by... look inside"he said sounding down and not like his normal cheerful self I look inside it was a picture of me and him me on his shoulders we were both smiling looking at the camera. I quickly pulled him into a hug a single tear roled down my cheek "thank you I'll miss you" I just managed to make my words clear enough without bursting into tears. I felt his arms rap around me "I'll miss you to..." "Remember to text me so we keep in touch..." I said
"Ok and don't forget me" Ross said smiling at me I smiled back then my dad called my name.
"COMING" I shouted back
"Bye Ross" I said before running to the car.
I waved to Ross as we drove of he waved back.

It's been 15 years since I've seen Ross he started to slowly stop talking to me ever since he became a doctor, doctor Ross it has a nice ring to it.
He started to reply a lot later instead of immediately until he stop talking to me completely. We spent some good times together...

Chapter 2
The apocalypse begingin

Emily's/Em's P.O.V

It's a normal warm day I was home with my roommates jess and Shelby we were just watching the news eating breakfast I had pancakes  jess had cereal and Shelby just had toast. On the news it was just the same old things same weather same reporter same anchor until...

"BRAKING NEWS THIS JUST IN THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE IS HAPPING LOCK YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, BARICKAED THEM, GET FOOD AND WEPONS EVERYONE PANICK!!!"the anchor screamed freaking out then the screen went black we all scrambled to our feet.
"Shelby you get the barickads jess make sure the door and windows are locked I'll get the weapons and food" I demanded we all ran to do our parts Shelby got the barickads from the attic I got the wepons from the basement and food and jess locked all the windows and doors. This is going to be one hell of a ride

Jess P.O.V
We all met up in the living room
"Ok let's get started on the barak-" I was cut of by a group of zombies braking down the door.
"Guys get everything we need and get upstairs" Shelby said.
I rushed and grabbed some food a water canteen some clothes and a pistol, shot gun, amo and a axe. Shelby and Emily did the same and put our stuff in our back pack.
Me Shelby and Emily all gathered we followed Shelby to the balcony and used a rope to get down then got I our car... well this is going to be fun I thought to myself.

Chapter 4
A New home

Shelby's P.O.V
We were all in the car I was in the back and jess was driving with Emily in the passenger seat. "So were are we going"I asked jess were going to a place called the CDC (you will know what it is if you what's the crafting dead)
"what's the CDC?" I asked
"It's a place were my friend works they will let us stay there we will be safe there" jess replied
Silence fell nothing but silence filled the air the rest of the trip...
So I guess it will our 'New Home'

Jess P.O.V
We finally made it to the CDC after a load of stops for fuel and food. We got out the car and was ameatly greated by my old friend sky "jess?" Sky said confused "hey sky!" I said exited to see him. "Quick come inside before they come" he said scared and serious. We quickly grabbed our stuff out of the car and ran inside. Sky pulled me into a hug soon as he closed the door.
