The Special

The Beginning

It all began when I was walking back to base I was getting tired since I had to walk to a river far away, anyways as I was walking I started to hear helicopters, that's when I knew that they were coming for my base but it wasn't possible how could they have found us that fast. It was impossible since we were far away from them and hidden but that didn't matter anymore all that mattered was that my family and my people were in danger. I started running towards base to get there first and try to warn them but I couldn't it was too far especially since I was tired from walking to the river, I was so close but they got to our base before I did there was explosions everywhere, people running and taking cover, children crying and looking for their parents or guardians, I was heartbroken when I saw them come out and start capturing and shocking everyone. The children, when I saw them I wanted to run and protect them but I knew I couldn't because I would be captured so I stayed low undercover. I lost it all when I saw what they were doing to my family them out of everyone else they treated worst, they hit them and they dragged them, that's when I noticed my baby cousin being whipped and hit, and in that moment I lost it all I ran to him and protected him as if he were my own kid, I started fighting and so did my friend helped we took the ones that were hurting my cousin down. Then I heard my aunt and uncle, mom and father telling me to take him and run and to protect him, I knew I couldn't just leave them but I had no chance so I grabbed him and started running while carrying him with my friend and 4 other people running with me.

We were far enough to stop running and walk since we were tired of running and especially me since I was carrying my cousin, my friend walked to my side and asked where are we going we have nowhere to go we have to go to the nearest base from other groups for cover and then to keep on going to the light base I'm sure they can help us and get our people back I told him. We were still walking when it started to get dark but we were close to the other group, we were able to see them thats when my cousin started crying I knew he was hungry but we had nothing to eat, we hurried to the base, then we got to the base who are you asked a guard we are the dark side and we need shelter until its morning at least so we have rest to go to the light side I said. He then took us to his leader alpha from the rebels we need shelter at least for the night we have been attacked and need to have rest to walk to the light base ok follow my assistant and she will show you where you will be staying for the night he replied. The rooms we stayed in had to beds we got 3 rooms we had a meeting explaining when we had to be awake, my friend shared a room with me, we made a deal saying that we had to stick by each others side until we were no longer in danger, we finally went to sleep me with my cousin with me to protect him, my friend in the other bed to the right closer to the door, he chose the right side saying just in case there is trouble he would be able to protect me and my cousin and since we were further away from danger. I started thinking about the others and what could possibly be happening to them until I finally fell into a deep sleep.

There is people crying children running for their life, blood everywhere dead children everywhere people shooting everyone, then my family all dead blood all over theres gunshots sounds everywhere then one specific shot is heard and all I see is black nothing else but darkness surrounding me all over.
