"Ellie!" I scream. "Ellie, are you okay?!" I yell as I run up to her. I put my hand on her forehead. She's still breathing. Thank god. She opens her eyes, crying.

"Sissy, my head hurts," she says. "I can see that you are scared. Remember the 4 words," Ellie says.

The 4 words are: I can do it. Whenever we see bad emotions in each other's eyes, we say remember the 4 words.  "I bet it does," I reply and smile. I sit down and she comes and sits on my lap. "At least you're alive," I say. She just looks up at me.

"I thirsty," she says. So I pick her up and put her in the house on her bed to let her rest. Then I go down the stairs in our house to our safe house, where we keep water that has been purified. I take a few cups and fill them. Then I go back upstairs.

"Kayla, can I have some water plants to look at?" Ellie asks.

"Sure, but I need you to do me a favor and stay here until I get back. Can you do that?" I ask.

"Yes. My heads spinning too much for me to move anyway," she replies. Good.

"Okay, I will be right back," I say as I grab my bag and walk out the door. Then I walk for like 5 minutes to the river.

I take off my shoes and walk right near the water. I step in and feel the nice relief of having finally cleaned my feet. It feels so relaxing. "Ahh," I whisper. It feels so good. Oh geez, what am I thinking? I have a 5 year old sister in a house at the moment all alone and what am I doing? I am relaxing in water.

So I quickly snap out of whatever I was in and grab some nice looking plants. This should do. Just then I hear movement near me and I look around. I see blond and dark hair in the bushes right behind me. "I see you just so you know," I say.

"Sorry to interrupt, but we couldn't help but notice that you seemed so good at finding things that are edible. We have been watching you the past few days. My name is Jesabelle, and this is my older brother, Johnathan. Our parents just died and we didn't want foster homes, so we decided to live out in the wild," she says.

"Ok, well you can come with me," I say. "And meet my little sister. She's really nice, but she-"

"Just ran into a tree," finishes Jesabelle's brother, Johnathan. They step out from behind the bush. I now get a great look at Johnathan. He's super cute. He has green eyes, and dirty blond hair.

"Nice to meet you both. Now come, let me show you how to live on the wild side," I reply and pull them with me to my house.
