Review: I really liked the story. A bit of editing is required. But the story kind of took a long while to get started. In the first few chapters, try to give a glimpse of what was to come; try hinting at the future, it will keep the readers on the edge of their seats.

Review: First of all, I'd advise editing the book since there are quite a few grammatical mistakes. I really like the plot. There are some instances of discontinuity but that is mostly because of lack of editing. One major mistake is that you are telling, not showing. The characters are not able to connect with the story. I'd advise reading other books (ones that you are absolutely sure you can use as reference) to see how they're being written and try to incorporate their tricks in your book. Event description has a lot of scope for improvement; again, this is a problem of show vs. tell.
