The training continued getting harder and more intense as time went on. Over time we adjusted more and more to the weights until it was almost as if they weren't there. We had taken to even slepping with them on. So when we could finally move again as if they weren't there we were happy until one day when we got back from training and found different sets of weights on our beds.

The pack were now required to wear three hundred pound weights, inculding Emma, the new girl that we had taken on. Turns out she was a genius at anything medical, she walked over to her bed with her head held high, the still fresh R.P tattoo on her arm as she picked up the weights. I sighed as I picked up one of my new ones and saw seven hundred pounds.

I sat down on my bed and sighed as I removed my old weights, when I went to pick up one of the new wieghts my weightless hand felt as light as air. I moved my feet and they felt the same way. Picking up the heavy weight I strapped it on my legs and then hands and felt weighted down again.

I stood to get a feel for the new weights and was suprised that I found that they weren't that heavy, stretching my arms and legs. The pack was also doing the same thing and I was glad to see that the new weights weren't really affecting them either. Even Emma was keeping up.

The normal recruits had arrived and often we would see them watching us train. When the R.P had moved our traing to the field like at the camp a few of the other cadets had tried to join in to show that they could keep up or to try and show us up and like always they couldn't keep up.

It was hard for Emma at the beginning but she had stuck with it and managed to hold her own and now she was a member of our pack. I had to speak to the Commander at the academy and let him know about our new member and to request our usage of the field.

It had almost been eight months since our training had begun. Every other day it was a test and training for the pack and everyday for me.

Weapons training was going along smoothly, the pack had suprised everybody by their mastery of the different weapons and I had finally managed to master the whip and it had become my favorite weapon.

We had Star class, Politics, Stratagey, Battle Training, Space Training, Ground Training, Leadership, Tactics, Alien Interaction, Piloting all along with our regular accelerated training and studies.

It was a normal day of training with the new weights when a cadet approached us and told us to report to the Commander's office.

When we got to his office we all stood at attention and waited for him to speak as the Commander of the school looked over each of us.

His light brown hair was cut neatly and glasses covered his brown eyes. His military uniform was nicely pressed and held all of his medals on his left breast pockect.

"At ease." He finally said and we rested.

"The committe is very pleased and astonished with this groups results here at the academy." He said and no one said anything just listened.

"Never before have we ever had such high ranking cadets. With the Accelerated course graduation in three months, we have come to a decision about this group." He said and cut me off before I could speak.

"We are well aware of the deal you all made with Commander Vasil Cadet Mason. I assure you that the R.P. will remain together as promised.  We would just like to make you another offer." He said and stepped in front of me.

"We have come across a race of dying entities. The eight of them have travelled across many galaxies to reach us. We've agreed to help them in exchange for their help. They claim to be from a long lost galaxy whose main planet was Terra. Earth, before they became space travellers and the planet burned out three million cycles ago. These creatures weren't the dominant humaniods but the animals who reclaimed the planet after the humans abandoned it and evolved." He said and I was stunned. I had heard stories as a child about Old Terra and how the planet had burned out from my parents when they were younger.

"What would we be helping them with sir?" I asked him.

"These entites need a home and we'd promised to give them one here on the planet to live out the rest of their lives. Unfortunately we didn't know what they meant when they said home." He muttered the last part.

"What they need are hosts." He said and the quiet office got even more quiet.

"The R.P has been considerd for this task because of it's already excellent showing. Ultimately it is up to you wether you decide to do it or not but we would like for you to meet them first before you decide." He said and still we were quiet.

I looked down at the rest of the pack to see them all waiting on me to make the decision for us.

I furrowed my brow at them and shook my head. This wasn't a decision that I could make for all of us, this had be decided by the entire group. They seemed to understand what I was trying to say without having to speak because they all stopped looking at me.

There was one thing I could decide for us though I thought and addressed the Commander.

"We'd like to meet them sir."
