   It was just another average day at school. You were sitting in class behind your not so secret "crush" Eddie. Somehow he's luckily been too dense to notice how bad you are at hiding your feelings,for example...right as we speak, you were happily staring at the back of his head,since the teacher blessed you enough to sit behind him.

Anyways whenever someone would ask what you were doing,trying to make you flustered,you'd just dreamily reply with "I love English." And end out getting called a nerd in the process but hey as long as people didn't tease you about your crush it's ok?I guess?

You were zoned out for a while but suddenly snapped back to reality when you heard your teacher say "Now get into partners"

Oh crud.What are we supposed to be doing?Where am I?Who am I? (Constant mood tbh)

You poked Eddie's shoulder. "Hey what are we supposed to be doing-"

Eddie explained how we got assigned a project and thoroughly explained what to do and how to do it, you pretended to pay attention but you were just so lost paying more attention to his mega cute messy hair,how his loose headphones sat on his neck. You studied how happy he seemed when explaining the project...

"Sorry can you repeat that I wasn't listening-"

Eddie sighed. "Honestly (y/n)..... You really need to pay attention more in class....your grades are going to drop...."

Even though your grades were fine,you still liked to make bad grade jokes.

"My grade already dropped-"

You turned around and mumbled a bit to yourself,a small blush on your face. "But my love for you never did....!"

Eddie tilted his head in confusion."Did you say something?"

You turned back around with a blank face."No just thought I heard something...."

Then an idea struck your head."Why don't I just ask him out?I mean ask him to be my partner?

For the....English...project...yeah...that's what I meant...!

You took a sudden deep breath and had generic anime sparkles around you and Eddie like in ever cliche romance scene.A tinted blush lit up your face as you fumbled with the packet of papers in front of you (which was the rubric for the project)

"H-Hey Eddie...I was maybe wondering if m-maybe...-"

Before you could finish,someone cut you off

"Hey Eddie wanna be my partner?"

He smiled at the other student."Sure!"

You died a bit inside.Ok.Ow.That hurt.

You awkwardly looked back down at your desk and stayed silent.

Eddie turned his head back to you and smiled."Anyways what we're you going to say?"

You sniffled a bit and smiled."Don't worry about it!"

He gave you a curious gaze but turned back around to his apparent "partner".That wasn't me.That should have been me."Alright...if you say so..."

You sent a huge salty death glare at the student who cut you off.How dare he stand in the way of your love!This is your love!Not his!GO AWAY EXTRAAA!!

Let's just say...you had a fun time trying to do a whole 8 page essay by yourself all in one night,and you came in the next night all sleep deprived and dead inside.
