I felt my feet disappear into the grainy substance that lay under my soft heels and toes. My eyes glued with the wind blowing in my face, carrying a bitter smell to it. The wind stopped, surprising me with the warmth of a beautiful light, piercing the skin over my eyes. I felt my lids come loose. As they open, the presents of the beautiful, twisting flower had shined on me as the raven passed the sky, the Creators gift of life.
My legs started to move, falling to my hands and knees as the salty water splashed upon the sand, pushing my waist to the sides and letting my body go back. Gracefully, I lifted myself from the sand and attempted to walk along, steadily breathing as I go. I slipped on a solid tiny piece of this isle and shaved my knee on another piece.
Sliding upon the sand as I held my knee with crimson red liquid oozing from under my soft tan skin, causing an agonizing pain. My throat aches of dryness as my eyes started to leak a salt water, almost like the seas and oceans. They fell out of my eyes for a long while, wiping them away as they gracefully slipped down my cheeks.
I let go of my oozing knee as I grip onto a very large piece of broken off mountain, swaying side to side as I stand.
"I need to find that Raven."
I say as I hobble instead of walking, finding my balance as I go. I walk through the wooded area, attempting to find some sort of source of fresh water area where I could catch some fresh and ripened salmon. I finally am able to slightly hear a small creek of splashing waters and steady focus. I follow my instincts to a small wooded off area where a small caved in area, where a bed of water lay. I look above me and see a long strand of hair, most likely from one of the wild creatures that blessed me with their strand of hair to help me survive. I climb as far as I can up the majestic tree, trying to grip the strand as I go. I got a good grip on the strand and lightly tug, jumping off the tree as I have the strand in accomplishment. I fall to the ground and fall on a large layer of moss, like many wool blankets folded into each other. I stand, pride and accomplished fills my body.
I sit on the floating area of the curved stream, attempting to catch a salmon with all of the hope I have in my soul. As soon as I lose hope, I find the string nearly bouncing out of my hands. I quickly pull the string up, with my gaze on the largest salmon I have ever seen. I tighten my grip around the fish and grab a near by stick, having to have a weapon to make it stop moving. I say a few words to worship this being that came to me. I hide it under the blankets of moss and grab materials for a fire. I start to see smoke coming from the piece of kindle. I blow, and blow, and blow, a fire starts to rumble from the kindle, adding more wood as it starts to get bigger. I soon grab the salmon and put it over a stick on the blazing fire, cooking with some char on the edges. It cooks completely through and easy to pull apart from the flesh.
After eating, I clean up my area and start to hobble around the woods. I start to see a path that leads to a cave, or a tunnel, I could never tell what it would be unless I went inside of it. Walking closer and closer, I see the figure of a boy with a long beak for a mouth, and feathers instead of hair. I automatically identified this boy by the way he spoke. Just like the raven, he could screech, or make a lovely sound.
" I know who you are, show your true form!"
He continues to shift into his true form by my command. Eventually he adjusted to the quick form. Slowly but surely waddling over to my premises, scanning me, from my head to my toes. Stopping at my knee in shock. He finally resorted to helping me and telling me what to do. He had shown me how to clean and take care of it, if it happened again. I shared with him that salt water cam out of my eyes and told me that it was called crying, and it will happen many times. If he want their, I could fix what would be happening. After that we said our goodbyes and he flew out of the small space as he flew into the twisting flower, looking back as he flew away in honour. I find myself in the cave, wondering what comes next. I decide to go back to the beach, having the feeling that he had never left. I hobbled back to the beach, finding myself looking at another being. I walked up to this mysterious person and see it is a boy, my heart starts to pump out of my boney chest. I walk away at sit on a had piece of this isle, wondering what I will do, what I will say, I was shaking. I looked around me and had the sight of the raven behind my back.
He had a glare of jealousy and insecurity. I would never imagine that he would have this emotion in him. He starts to shift into his human form, and adjust to be fully human, but could never speak a regular human tone.
"I'm human, would you like me if I were to be human forever?" The raven said. Surprisingly in a enchanting human voice.
"I would only like you if you wouldn't be so mischievous and annoying, it's almost like your a large child. You want to be loved, but you don't know how to socialize properly, so you try to please others to be with you. If in your mindset you think like that, you have mistaken love and passion, for an urge, a need, a want. A human would almost always attempt to respect those you like, unless they were foolish to think that you would get what you want, goodbye!" I say with a passion. The ravens human eyes fill with the salt water that filled my sockets before. He changes to his raven for and leaps off the ground, flying into the twisting flower in tormenting burn that ache through his deathly heart.
