Handy carefully examined himself in the mirror. He was wearing a black tuxedo, but his bowtie was crooked. He tried to adjust it, but his arms were too short to reach it. He grunted. Handy turned to the clock to see it was 6:00 PM. She should be here any minute now. A sudden honk was heard outside and startled Handy. She's here! Handy excitedly raced down the stairs and darted out the front door. Petunia arrived in her car to pick Handy up. They were going on a date. Handy forgot he had no hands as he tried to reach the car handle to open it. He grunted. Petunia giggled and opened it for him and he got in. She closed it for him. Petunia started the car, and off they went.
They finally arrived at their destination. The words Le Restaurante was shown in big, bright, letters. The precise cursive handwriting was flawless. Petunia´s eyes sparkled. She exited the car, and opened the car door for Handy. He stepped out, and smiled at his date. He raced to the door to open it for Petunia, but forgot he had no hands, and grunted. Petunia´s eyes said pity as she opened the door for herself, and held it open for Handy. After making a reservation for a table, they sat down. Handy struggled to pull the chair out for Petunia, but he did it. Petunia studied the seat for any crumbs or stains, and she sat down. Handy pushed her chair in, and took his seat. The chairs were soft and cushiony, like you were sitting on a cloud. The waiter, Lumpy, arrived to take their order.
Lumpy wrote "spaghetti" in his small notebook with the handwriting of a kindergartener. The cross-eyed moose left the table, and headed to the kitchen, grinning stupidly. Later, Lumpy was carefully holding their plate of spaghetti with one hand. His arm started to wobble, and he quickly placed it onto the table before it could fall. The aroma of spaghetti filled the air. Lumpy did the "OK" sign with his fingers and sped off to the next table. Petunia unwrapped the soft napkin that was surrounding the silverware, and gently stabbed her fork into the food. Handy on the other hand, was struggling to remove it. He was lucky Petunia wasn't paying attention.
After a while, Handy finally removed the napkin. Now here comes the harder part; picking up the fork. Handy used his stubby hands to pick up the fork, he smiled, proud of himself as he was holding it. He leaned closer to the spaghetti, carefully stuck his fork into it, and pulled some out. As he carefully directed the food towards his mouth, he was startled by Petunia´s scream, and stabbed himself in the tongue with the fork. He screamed in pain. Petunia was hyperventilating, because she got some spaghetti sauce on her. She frantically grabbed a napkin to try and wipe it away, but she only made it worse. She finally noticed Handy, quickly got up from her seat, and attempted to pull the fork out of his tongue. Handy screamed as Petunia pulled on the fork. She pulled so hard, his tongue came off, still attached to the fork. Petunia looked at what she did in horror. Blood started to spew from Handy's mouth and splattered all over Petunia. Her eyes widened and she screamed even louder. She darted out the door and left Handy alone. Loud sirens were heard outside the restaurant. Handy was placed on a gurney by Generic Tree Friends and the ambulance rushed away. The spaghetti was left alone, still hot. Lifty's head peaked from behind the table and he swiftly took the food, snickering evilly
